Along with Son and Dier, that makes three players who needed surgery but tried to play through the season with their injuries (and had poor seasons). Whoever was making these decisions, I hope they cleared out with Conte.
This explains a lot; https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...a-child-sleeping-pill-addiction-rehab-everton We'd all want him back once he's sorted out.
Well Joe Lewis has been indicted for insider trading. Innocent until proven guilty and all, but hardly shocking. Between this and hiring Paratricio knowing he’d committed a crime. I perhaps naively thought at least we weren’t run by complete scum bags like Chelsea. Turns out it’s just incompetent scumbags.
Also in the Guardian: https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...tspur-owner-joe-lewis-charged-insider-trading Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of the ENIC era. First Paratici, now this. Who knows how many more are involved?
I remember the Wolves supporters were barracking him when they came to WHL 2 seasons ago lol. Now he's a legend returning to Molyneux. I love football.
Ange apparently allegedly prefers Lo Celso to Bentancur. *Scratches head* Must suit his new system better.
Someone's got to be moved on. We have a ton of players. We can only surmise that the coaches have given a load of feedback to the decision makers and Spence hasn't done as well as he could've. I wish him well.
He played 41 minutes across 6 sub appearances, he played 5 minutes in the PL across 4 sub appearances. They only time he played more than 13 minutes in a single game was against Nottingham Forest, when he came on for 25 mins when we were already 2 down in the League Cup. He did ok at Rennes in his loan spell, but to expect him to be any better than that after so little football in the previous 6 months is difficult. Not only that but his value is now lower than what we paid for him (and I think we got a relatively good deal £12m ish), just stupid from everyone at the club. I like Porro but the fact he might be £40 m sub going into the new season is also damning.
My gut feelings and experience in being a Spurs supporter since 1961. I shouldn't worry too much about Kane leaving, the others will step up.
