Sporting need to sign a Canadian player and have them play NHL next. Tajon Buchanan may have an interesting option, but seems like Canadians tend to be heavily scouted more by Belgian clubs first just like Jonathan David
He's gonna tear it up for Club Brugge, hopefully Sporting Toronto has their eyes open for young talent.
Wow. Fucking wow. Dude actually said it. Declared war on that fat corrupt little cockroach. Varandas throwing punches and ain't ********ing around anymore. Ya love to see it. https://abola.pt/Clubes/2022-05-29/...vo-e-devia-estar-banido-ha-decadas/943263/147
Funny because PdC started it but the media spins it that Varandas is attacking PdC without reason. LOL
Never seen a team win the league and spend the entire time talking shit about an opposing team. Like damn, is your existence that ********ing miserable that you can't just enjoy the title?
Also everyone in the media attacks the messenger but not one person ever tries to refute what he actually said. Hmm I wonder why #TruthHurts
The one thing I liked about last seasons kit was the white back with black numbers. To me that is essential in a Sporting kit. Again with the sleeves… Next season, black sleeves
What i will say is i like this years more. But yes its generic. Im not an expert but Sporting probably bought a package with Nike where we just get a "standard template" kit every year. I just hope we could get Nike to make some alternate "retro" kit
FPF Extraordinary General Assembly voted on everything remaining the same, regarding the history of national champions. Presented by Sporting and later admitted to voting, we argued that the Campeonato Portugal, organized between 1921 and 1938 in a knockout format, was the most important competition on the calendar, the predecessor of the League and not the Portuguese Cup. Sporting would add four titles (23), Benfica would keep the 37, while FC Porto would add two more to have 32. Belenenses would receive three more champion titles (1926/27, 1928/29, and 1932/ 33), while Olhanense (1923/24), Marítimo (1925/26) and Carcavelinhos (1927/28) one each.

Ruben Amorim broke Mourinho's record for highest average points in their first 100 games as manager. Pretty impressive. https://desporto.sapo.pt/futebol/pr...ben-amorim-ultrapassa-mourinho-e-bate-recorde
First 2 seasons definitely were impressive. This season has been a struggle and probably skewered the numbers a bit against him. Curious to see if he can rebound from this and still have a respectable finish
This WC break will be a crossroads for Amorim IMO. He had a great first 2 seasons, and this year has been a dumpster fire but it's his first real taste of adversity here, how does he respond? Does he continue stubborn and flounder? Or can he show that he's willing to be flexible and make adjustments? I think a lot of sentiment is that it shouldn't have taken this long, but I think with the championship, age and potential he gets the benefit of the doubt. Post-WC and Winter Transfer will be telling. Let's see
This is pretty interesting, wouldn't have guessed that there would be more attacks this year. Shows two things imo: there is a glaring lack of striker on this team, and the defence has gone to shit.
Absolutely, we create more but can't finish, we're behind our rivals and Braga for goals scored. And we're middle of the table and lower with goals against.
One of the VPs at the club confirmed that they're looking to do a major rebranding of the club, and one of the things that will be voted on is a change in the club badge logo.
I wouldn't mind seeing an update. And in marketing terms, SCP is miles behind even our rivals its sad to say
