His exact quote was "He's a good, serviceable, above average coach." Honestly, I appreciate a lot of what Dyson does but I just don't think he's a good judge of coaches. He didn't want Rongen fired. He doesn't want Hudson fired. And he thinks Arena is merely a good, serviceable, above average coach. That characterization was made to counter the charge that Arena is a great coach. I'm sorry Dyson but I think you really need to rethink how you go about evaluating coaches.
... although ... I gotta admit I like the pairing he suggested of Onalfo and Simpson to coach DC United.
