Join myself, Chris, and Mike as we talk about last night's painful loss to KC.

    The questions du jour:
Obviously the loss of Olsen, Q1, and Moreno affected the team's performance. Does the team have the necessary tools to win any cup this year? - Open, MLS, or Copa Sud America. Should the team throw all of its weight at any single cup at the expense of the others?

Schedule to join us will be defender John Wilson

Also, we'll be wrapping up the whole Freddy to NY issue by having Jack Bell of the NY Times

Finally, we'll talk in depth about the US and the Gold Cup.

Well done show, and an interestion discussion with Jack Bell. Loved listening to John Wilson.

And Dexter Manual's music is waay overrated. He lost me in the Disco years and never got me back... :p

Hey Saltenya94, the file is ready to go.

I made a lil booboo while recording. My computer (which doubles as a ghetto Tivo) started recording a TV show, so i had to snip that audio part out. Unfortunatly, it was during Wilson's interview...

Excellent show, as ever, although I didn't think John Wilson said much besides "you know" several dozen times. The segment with Jack Bell was good radio - you pinned him down and he put up a reasonable, if slightly stuttering, defence. It was interesting to hear the genesis of the whole Adu/Lalas/Payne story, and it convinced me once and for all that Lalas' comments were worthwhile if only for the ensuing theatre. As a listener, it's so much more engaging than, "Soooo, who's gonna win the Gold Cup?"

"Fear the Dyson" -Rob Spiwack. During a read for DC United tix, Rob A. ended that bit with "Fear the Dyson". There was also "Fear the Turtle" for UMD and "Fear the Internet" for AOL. Made me laugh at work today.

    Thx,

    Jay!

There's usually a day or two delay but Saltenya94 usually has an MP3 posted on his site. (see this post: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showpost.php?p=5502626&postcount=7)

I usually download it and listen to it at work.

Alan Handy is a worthless piece of crap. Against the Cbus reserves he was repeatedly getting beat by Sutton and Storey. I question if he would even be worth bringing in for the reserves.
