Next time there's an overhead, we need a volunteer to go up and get a picture of it from the Captain Morgan deck. You get a great view of the River End from up there. Unfortunately all I had was my cell phone camera (no optical zoom), but with a halfway decent camera you could get a good picture pretty easily.

I thought the tifo of the players names and numbers was a nice touch. Good job to whomever did that.

wish i'd thought of this more than 2 days before the match:

But what about the Prisioners of Harrison (aka Empire Supporters)? Their Union logo parody was not fit for TV, showing some scatlogical poor taste replacing a snake with, um, what's the word I'm looking for...

yes my favorite was their "Philadelphia Stinks" flag. creativity you would expect from the pink cows

 

In retrospect, not taking a lot of tifo to RBA was the correct choice. We didn't need it!

 

When we were there, I thought we were really loud but on TV you realized just how badly they miked up the pcnj supporters. Their tifo was pathetic, none of their songs are even remotely original, and they blatantly lie about attendence figures. What a sad, sorry franchise and fanbase!

 

They had it with them back in April. Tannenwald mentioned RB tifo directed at Philly on Tweeter, but never replied when I asked if that was the one.

Good to see they're ever creative....

 

got to say i heard you guys pretty clear throughout the match..and a great big SOMB came through after one of the fouls. Great job by everyone who went up and i hope to join you next time

 

You mean the songs half the league sings now? Not to start a flame war, but while Metro supporters lack certain things, one thing over 16 season they have not lacked is original songs...trophies..that is another story.

In case anyone is interested - This was the original layout I did based on the lo-res photo Corey sent me - which I didn't know came from this thread. This layout was for a 60'x30'. It got changed it up slightly when they painted it.

 

I was at Citi Field for Mets-Phils and some of their supporters brought it. Didn't even get a chuckle out of me.

 

Still uncreative after all these years.

And the Mess are another story...
