Slight chance of rain. Just saw the weather report. We all need to relax! Plus I'm bringing my lucky poncho.........every game I've brought it to the rain has held off.

I didn't go to the Seattle Game btw..............sorry about that.

Well I watched it on a stream as usual, but I didn't see any images of it. Could someone please post a pic? Thanks.

edit: Never Mind. I don't know how Ben Franklin Cut a log with his hand is shocking.

I'm really happy how this one came out.

We had a crew of about ten people get this drawn and painted in a matter of four hours.

Imagine if we had more folks willing to help.

Stand by for off-season tifo painting to come. Making a push for more Union-related multi-match banners.

hey guys. just wanted to come in and comment on the really awesome tifo of ben karate chopping the log. one suggestion I would make, is that from our section in 121 and possibly true for all the oposite end of the field, the tifo was too high and hard to appreciate as much due to the angle of the river end. I would suggest having it come down a bit further down to the rows near the bottom or unrolled from the bottom towards the top although I know this makes less sense. great job guys.

we tried doing that with the 138 tifo last year. there is too much foot traffic in the first row. it kept getting trampled on by idiots that have no respect for anyone or anything. people would see it lying there and just walk right on it.

yeah, and with the tunnel blocking the concourse, you get everyone tromping across the front rows a lot to miss the congestion and to get through.

Alternatively, could it be raised higher at the top? Perhaps strategically placed poles would be enough. I imagine it would be more difficult to unfurl, but it would be easier for the rest of the stadium to see.

If nothing else, could we get someone to volunteer to take decent pictures from the Captain Morgan deck or somewhere when we have a big tifo like this?

I took a pic with my phone, but it's far away...

so even from the deck it won't be good.

Or when they expand the stadium and build TRE's second level.

Maybe if it wasn't done on 1,000 potato bags, it'd be easier to unfurl.

The flag is the same, but I have seen the same type of flag hung like it is in the picture in the front of the river end. So that is probably the same one that isn't attached to the pole. I have never detached my flag from the pole, and heavily decorated the pole so avoid this type of confusion.

During the early part of the season, my flag would be brought out pregame and left in 137 (even though my section, row and seat are clearly marked on the pole) and I would see someone waiving it and I would go ask them for it. Then after every game I would wrap it up and place it with the other flags on the launch pad so it could be securely put away. That is the last memory I have had of my dear flag. It HAS to be in the closet in PPL.

I don't recall seeing it in the closet on Saturday.

Can we just take up a collection so we stop hearing about this flag?
