For our US resident madridistas here, there's currently a discount in the adidas official store for the 99/00 TEKA jerseys.
Didn't participate in the Leagues retro kit week, put the kits online to sell them regardless and got left with loads of unsold stock in hand. You'd guess playing in them would've been a great marketing plan but protesting anything the league does is much more important.
Yep. It could have been a nice incentive, but politics got in the way. One of my buddies has a 96/97 home kit (Kelme+Teka, but with the paw prints) signed by the whole team. How much you think that'd go for in the market nowadays?
If you can authenticate it in a way (pictures of the event) with PSA or so, it's worth A LOT For context, a friend of mine sold a signed Luis Diaz Bayern kit for 450 bucks and depending on the kit/signature placement they can go up to about 800.
Damn, this should be a very pricey kit then. Not that he'd ever sell as it has sentimental value and all that.
🚨 BREAKING: Real Madrid will release a remake of the 2002 Champions League winning kit in early 2027. @Footy_Headlines pic.twitter.com/ZvqyKBfnFD— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) May 15, 2026
I can see why it seems like players are trying to get kicked out of the club, those have to be the worst Real Madrid kits in my lifetime if not ever. The green one is the only nice looking jersey but surely green is not a Real Madrid color, the pink is obviously a marketing gimic from the pink phony Flo but the white with green and pink accents- GG who did that?
Really is. Almost as of Flo’s been saving this for when it was most needed, when the club was at a real low point and you know shirt sales are going to struggle. Especially now that some of the fans don’t relate to the new generation and are really not enjoying the experience anymore - what better way to remind them why they are fans. I know I want to go get the shirt and then just binge watch old games from 98-03. That 2002 CL semi final Classico against Barca - chefs kiss.
The Real Madrid kit is still one of the best selling in the sport. Trust me on that. Commercially the club is doing fairly well, and those that don't obsessively follow the sport don't notice much of the stuff around it unless it goes viral, which is something we can thank the presi for doing in recent years.

As a Croat, I love the checkerboard pattern but I just don't understand why someone thought that dark green and pink would go well together. It's just not working for me. I'd either replace the pink with darker yellow, or replace the green with silver.
Kits are leaning more of a fashion trend than anything else now. They know a certain % of fans will buy it regardless, they aren’t designing it for them - it’s largely the fringe people who couldn’t name a player on the team other than they know Real Madrid is a big deal and this shirt I can wear out to a party or whatever.
Also if you sign up to be a platinum member, you get the home shirt free every year you’re a member. I mean it isn’t free because it’s included in the membership. Whatever that costs.
I still have my kits from 2003 (long sleeve Zidane) and 2006 (short sleeve Zidane) and my long sleeve 2007 (RVN) that are much more comfortable to wear when I want to represent the club.
For me, the home kit is sacred. IThe colors should be all traditional Real Madrid: purple, blue, yellow, etc. I can live with black. Green?
Man I can't believe it's true, this is next seasons jersey. Florentino has fully and trully lost it, this is a tragedy for Madridismo and somehow worse than the other mockup with red stripes. 📸 26/27 Real Madrid home kit. 🤍🩷 @Footy_Headlines pic.twitter.com/k0m4HxrAlL— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) May 21, 2026
