Yes, much better than the current season's kits. I really didn't like the teal/aqua color. It was the only season I instantly knew on the release date that I don't want any kits.
Almost everyone hates the aqua shirt this year. The new black away shirt looked cool, but the white one is just ordinary. The white one is not bad, but it is nothing that stood out. It is just a white shirt with black stripes. You cannot go wrong with the combination. Basically, I own the centenary 2002(?) black shirt(champions league edition), Raul 2006-2007(white with purple stripes), Ronaldo white with yellow stripes(2009-2010) and Ronaldo purple one( 2017 CL Final edition). The CL Final edition is probably fake that I bought cheaply from eBay after the Final.
I'm holding out for the home Neymar one, so venom can be spewed at me whenever I don it. Oh, and for us to not retain the CWC so I can get rid of that hideous badge.
It really doesn’t belong on the centre of the kit and certainly doesn’t need to be bigger than the badge itself. From a marketing perspective it definitely doesn’t hurt though so I doubt there’s any pushback from any club who hold it on a given year.
