For those who have ever stood in one of the most famous of all football grounds. "The shed" was a name that was known in far flung football grounds in South and North America, let alone European cities. A place that gained a rather unfortunate-and fully deserved-hooligan image during what we call the "dark years" now. I stood in many of the revered places-the Bovril, whitewall, middle-although my preferred place to be in those turbulent days was the North stand as i was young, foolish and usually on the piss and looking for trouble with the away support.
