No, how did you conclude that Fekir didn't reach the same level of performance and production as Lo Celso. Don't play dumb please.
Betis spent 110 mil. around Fekir to make a run for the Europa League spots and ended up finishing worse than they did the season before. Lo Celso produced more goals for the team while playing less than Fekir, didn't really produce any other sort of end product over Lo Celso, or contribute more defensively, so as the Betis vice president said, they replaced pretty much what Lo Celso was doing for them. You can talk "eye test" and "watching the games" all you want, i guarantee that you didn't watch more Betis football than i did, and when we break it down, Betis are worse now than before. How is that even arguable or worth a discussion?
30 minutes into this match and Jovic looks like a completely different player to the one seen at RM. Every little flick is coming off, his cuts, turns, + dribbles are smooth. Linking up well and involved in the build up. Even defending as far back as his own 18 on the right wing.— Matt (@MattW_MM) November 18, 2020 Among the few good things to happen over this international break
What a silly statement. Dude isn't really "integrated" with his NT. The reality is NT play is very low quality. Besides a handful of teams the level of play is bottome tier.
Playing v Russia is probably higher quality than playing v Cadiz or Valladolid but somehow he’s shit when playing against those La Liga cracks. Management failed to integrate him after spending 60ME. Said it last season and it’s the same again this season.
Regardless if you rate him or not we need a backup for Benz. Hope he can build some confidence for when he plays for us next, we need secondary scoring big time. He’s looked lost most of the time with us but had a few close chances too, just need those to start going in to bag/save some points.

Jovic scored in Bundesliga and in europa league in big games. In these 3 games against Scotland Hungary and Russia he just showed what he can do on a pitch in the link up play and as a striker. Maybe it won't work for Real Madrid but this guy has the weapons to be a world class striker. Just a matter of time.
Milan are interested in having him on loan from January according to Corriere dello Sport. They can let him go there if they don't want to play much with him. Win-win situation if he shines there.
Jovic has all the tools, since we love spamming crosses one would think that by default Jovic will get onto the end of some of those and add some goals. I don't know what exactly, but my guess is there's something going on off the pitch.
