Very excited about this kid, last time we had a player with his characteristics was Ruuuuud Van Nistelroy ( huntelaar doesn’t count) hopefully he has a career as good as the Dutchie’s.

I can't see ZZ benching Benzema so I don't think he will get enough minutes to make a huge impact.

I think he will do well off the bench though. Is it enough? Nope. We need starters

 

We also need players who can make the difference when they come in, not just starters. And we're getting Hazard en hopefully a top midfielder, so the starters are coming as well. To win trophees, we need a big squad with top players on the bench.

 

Put this guy upfront supported by Benzema and Hazard.

 

Here's to a long and successful career with us. It's been a long time since we've had a viable alternative to Benzema and I hope both have monstrous seasons next year.

What impresses me the most is how cool he is in front of the goal or in general he has strong character. Cannot wait to see him play in white shirt.

 

If we had a striker like Jovic during the Copa Classico at the bernebeu we would have manita’ed Barcelona , I have no doubt about it.

Should he keep progressing as he has been, and the addition of Hazard plus some goal scoring midfielders we’re looking like we’d be scoring goals with ease not seen since 5 years ago.

 

Technically, Eintracht Frankfurt gets to keep 70% and Benfica gets 30% of the transfer fee. So, Frankfurt gets 42 ME, 18 ME for Benfica. When you consider his buyout price from Benfica: They made 25 ME, and Frankfurt made 35 ME from selling him on. Benfica actually made a lotta money for doing practically nothing. Smart business on their part, considering they had written him off as a flop.

This is great. I don’t know how he will turn out, I personally prefer Felix, and there aren’t lots of quality goalscorers readily available, but you can’t argue with how we are actually going about addressing the team’s needs right now. It’s also not a totally ridiculous price in relation to the current market. Couldn’t ask for much more.

We could've got Felix, Sane, you name it, but at the end of the day we had to sign a top CF, someone to put it in the back of the net, that was THE priority, and I'm glad it's done. Hopefully he lives up to the expectations.

I like this guy and I'm expecting him to be a good signing for the club.
