The Section 8 Cup Is Back

  1. On a little happier note, the FIRE & FIRE Reserves are scheduled to resume their rivalry with an exhibition match in Naperville next summer.

The cup has yet to be awarded following a hard fought 2-2 draw in the inagural match during the 2001 season. The senior side required a last minute equalizer in a match that featured 53 fouls, 5 bookings, and a stoppage time brawl.

Alright, the cup hasn't been procured yet, but I promise the winner will drink beer out of it this summer. Hmmm, can't do that either since most of the CFR will be underage. ;) Come to think of it much of the senior side will be underage as well.

What is it, a used Budweiser beer can?

  3. We'll see what the Copa De Seccion 8 committee can come up with. We may have to settle for a used Busch can.

    Hm.

I was hoping this was Section 8 vs. the Fire Reserves.

Or better yet, the Fire front office vs. the Fire reserves.

I'd pay to see that :)

i wouldn't mind seeing some former fire players get together to go up against the current fire in a little charity match, of course jamar would have to be present.
