If you lot presented him with a good contract and said to him if you sign there on the dots you get 2 million in your bank account, just for signing there...you would have saved 18 million
Ihattaren taking time off after receiving some threats but not from fans. Very vague report but it’s very sad and unfortunate as things were going pretty well for him, but now this unfortunate incident will set him back.
More here: https://www.voetbalzone.nl/doc.asp?uid=405911 If I had to take a guess its gambling or drug debts
the club worked for over a year to get him to extend his contract. Raiola was his agent and was dangling a big payday in front of him rather than looking out for the player's best interest.
This is all just conjecture and we should give the player some time to resolve what ever the issue is. The club's official statement was that he was not fit along with Steks and van Axel Dongen who were also left behind. He did suffer a minor injury in the friendly 10 days ago and perhaps that was the issue. Athletes are just like the rest of us and have the same kinds of problems ordinary people have. No sense in magnifying things, let the club give him the support he needs.
Its well documented some of his friends are Mocro mafia. But I guess O14 is right, not fair to speculate without evidence. I dont see who else would threaten him though, because Ajax have said the threats are not coming from hooligans

2 -1 at the half with goals from Tadic (PK) and Kudus. Conceded goal was a result of poor defensive coverage following a turnover (nothing new about that), Schuurs got back but his sliding tackle knocked to ball off the Red Bull attacker and into the net. Wijndal was bundled over in the box for the penalty and Bergwijn delivered a nice cross that an unmarked Kudus found the net with. Line up: Gorter; Rensch, Schuurs, Blind, Wijndal; Álvarez, Berghuis, Taylor; Bergwijn, Kudus, Tadic,
Match ends 3-2. Taylor with a nice goal on a combination of passes to make it 3-1. Klaiber gives the ball away cheaply deep inside Ajax territory for an easy score for Red Bull.Sontje Hansen had a nice shot on goal late in the match and Ajax were saved the embarrassment of a draw when a late score was pulled back for off side. I guess the Tagliafico transfer has not been done yet as he came in the 2nd half. Line up with the substitutions: Gorter; Rensch(Regeer 64'), Schuurs (Klaiber 64'), Blind (Magallán 64'), Wijndal (Tagliafico 64'); Álvarez (Hlynsson 64'), Berghuis (Rasmussen 64'), Taylor (Fitz-Jim 58'); Bergwijn (Hansen 64'), Kudus (Klaassen 46'), Tadic (Daramy 64')
He has been working out. There has been no mention of when he might get game time. Pasveer is scheduled to play some this Saturday.
These are not good signs. Mo hasnt even had contact with Schreuder recently https://www.ad.nl/nederlands-voetba...x-laatste-tijd-geen-contact-met-hem~a480f177/ He will most likely miss Ajax friendly against Shakhtar Donetsk, and the PSV Johan Cruijff Schaal game
Schreuder has not been around to visit him. One story I read said that senior Ajax officials have been in contact with him. Whatever the issue is, we need to respect his privacy and hope that he is getting the necessary assistance.
Friendly with Eintracht Franfurt is cancelled because three players have contracted Covid. Team is heading back to Amsterdam.
Yes, Ajax players. There have been Covid outbreaks among players and coaches in the Women's Euros that is going on right now. This is a fact of life going forward.
So who is gonna end up starting on lb? Wijndal or Blind? Surely Bassey will be starting with as much was paid for him I would think.
