It's an absolute delight watching Keane self-destruct. Nobody's doing it to him, Motty, he's doing it to himself. It's beyond debate. The only open question in this regard is whether you choose to accept it. Did you SEE the elbow he got tossed for, and his reaction to the sending off? The act was 100 % deliberate and premeditated, and yet he seemed genuinely perplexed by the booking. Roy is nothing more than another in a long line of talented players who decided that all the adulation must mean they are Gods and rules don't apply to them. Even that Manic Depressive Alex Furguson is going to have to admit it soon. The guy's simply not worth the trouble. No one is.

He he he ... doesn't he? That's why I have always been so greatly tickled by his attempts at smack talk around here. Especially the "you're obsessed about us". The irony being, of course, that he's never met a Scouser (or a Manc, for that matter), whereas even the Indians of Irian Jaya have met some prat in a Beckham shirt going, "yah, I'm a Man Yoo fanatic!!" My opinion? (not that anybody gives a ************) Roy Keane is a great player, but has always had a problem with his temper. Lately this seems to have gotten out of hand, and his book and the statements he made haven't helped his cause either. However, i still believe that Roy Keane is a great player , just not such a great human being...
