Just to spin off from a related discussion on Road Games...

Noticed that Orlando City SC are doing better on the Road vs at Home so far, through Week #6:
    • Home: P3, W1-T0-L3, GS1-GA3, Pts 3, GD -2.
    • Road: P3, W2-T1-L0, GS5, GA-2, Pts 7, GD +3.
The same can be said about Colorado Rapids as well:
    • Home: P2, W0-T1-L1, GS0-GA2, Pts 1, GD -2.
    • Road: P3, W1-T2-L0, GS4, GA-0, Pts 5, GD +4.
Looking through the past seasons quickly, only spotted a few teams that have "achieved" this feat so far, with the highest Road-Home Points-Difference at 7, set by NYRB in 2002.

(Let us know, if you noticed more teams, on top of the list below.)

Will the record be broken this season (by either OSCS or Colorado Rapids)?

(Yeah, I know, it's still early in the season, but no harm tracking this anyway. ;))

    2014:
    --- Rank --- Team --- P W D L GF - GA Pts GD

Base on the list collated so far, there are generally 3 broad categories of Road Runners:

    1. Top Teams with good Home Records and excellent Road Records, e.g. 1998 L.A.:
    --- Rank --- Team --- P W D L GF - GA Pts GD
    Home: 3. Los Angeles Galaxy 16 10 3 3 41 - 21 33 (+20)
    Road: 1. Los Angeles Galaxy 16 12 1 3 44 - 23 37 (+21)

    2. Average Teams with average Home Records and better-than-average Road Records, e.g. 2014 Portland:
    --- Rank --- Team --- P W D L GF - GA Pts GD
    Home: 12. Portland Timbers 17 5 9 3 34 - 28 24 (+6)
    Road: 2. Portland Timbers 17 7 4 6 27 - 24 25 (+3)

    3. Bottom Teams with bad Home Records and slightly better Road Records, e.g. 2012 Chivas USA:
    --- Rank --- Team --- P W D L GF - GA Pts GD
    Home: 19. CD Chivas USA 17 3 3 11 9 - 30 12 (-21)
    Road: 9. CD Chivas USA 17 4 6 7 15 - 28 18 (-13)
Let's see which categories will Orlando City SC and Colorado be in, for 2015... ;)

The Home Teams have not won a game so far this week...

    1. Is this going to be a "Road Runners" week (of No Home Win at all)?

    2. Has it ever happened in the past seasons?

    3. If not, what was the closest instance? ;)

What schedule is that? The games look right for the first part of the week but the dates are all wrong.

4 home teams did end up winning this week. Home teams went 4-4-4 in league games.
