Netherlands dominating so far. Reijnders missed a good chance.

Poland scores a similar header as Carvajal in the CL final.

Relentless attacks from Netherlands. Gakpo scores from deflection.

the choking element is there. Depay missed a good 3 or 4 excellent chances.

Weird seeing the Dutch without a high profile striker.

Had a fantastic season for Bologna, one of the pillars of Motta's system. Strong reports he's moving to Juve with Motta but I'm sure many EPL clubs will discover him now.

That said, not sure I'd play him as a conventional CB as part of a back 4. Motta's system allows him to bombard forward at will, sometimes their CBs play even higher than their CMs. And with Italy, he's playing as part of a back 3 with Bastoni playing the sweeper. Would be a waste to bring him into a team and tell him stay back and sit.

How Depay is on the field still astounds me.

Reinjders following up a great season with Milan to a great start at the euros. MOTM for me.

I never heard of Wort Weghorst. I was literally looking at his profile when he scored. His name sounded liked a harry potter character.

Really never heard of him? Thats odd, he scored several goals and was a central character for Netherlands in the last World Cup. Helped them get to extra time vs Argentina in that epic match.

Wanna add that in impressed with Chiellini’s commentary on FS1. He is charming as hell and providing some good points after the matches. Enjoying him.

Yeah, his English is pretty good and he somehow looks younger now than when he played.

When I saw him involved I wasn’t sure but yeah, his English is better than I thought and I like his presence.

Serbians and English? Very loving people on both sides. That’s just a fun reunion that both sides were looking forward to. A game before the game if you will. Savage funzies.
