Germany finishing second is great for football. I don't want them to play Spain in the Quarter Finals. They both need to go as far as possible without facing each other.

Watching the collision live, I immediately thought he was dead. His limbs reaction was horrible to see.

The Swiss just switched off on that cross. Not sure any of them were marking the three Germans in the box.

Fullkrug is more useful than Havertz.

Havertz is absolutely terrible. Sane is just as bad.

Surely Nagelsmann plays Fullkrug from now on instead of that fake forward, Havertz? Not because Fullkrug is an amazing player or because he scored today, but he's at least fairly reliable and actually a striker. Havertz is just not good enough, goodness..

Arsenal won't win anything if Havertz and Gab Jesus are their No.9 options. Could have saved that Havertz money, then add 40 ME and gone for Osimhen this summer.

These false 9s have rarely ever worked. Why do these coaches still persist? Even a mediocre player like Fullkrug is more valuable being alone up top.

A mediocre to good forward is enough leading a team like Germany that will feed you with 6-10 chances a game.

Italy and Croatia for second place

Neither has looked good but I’m guessing Italy takes this

Aside from that bad throw in I quite like Di Marco. Good going both ways.

    Unfortunately their entire frontline sucks.

In the past you had Mandzukic and Perisic but they're all mediocre now.

I'm torn here as I share ethnicity from both countries but I think Italy looks like a decent side and should take this.

Brozovic hasn't been all that during this tournament. Probably lost sharpness due to playing in the Middle East.

Both teams are way too cautious. Italy looks a bit sharper going forward. I still believe we're going to see goals, both defences are ripe for the picking.

Croatia are simply either not a good team or not good enough in this euro. Very unconvinced so far that they could potentially do something in this tournament.
