The term is aggregator, basically taking information that is widely available and repurposing it. The opinion pieces and discussion are something else and I can live with it, editorials have always been a part of any discussion. "Journalism" per se would be stuff that fans often don't want to hear like the football leaks stuff. Sports as a business relies a lot on emotion, so unmasking that is bad for business. Tricky.
Just speaking more widely, opinionists or similar football analysts just tend to be extremely unoriginal or heavily biased, or both. The Athletic guys for example I find really pretentious and annoying, their analysis is super simple and bland but they come across like they’re a beacon of top tier sports analysts. These Football Times was awesome, their detailed articles about past players and teams is well written and researched. The guy doing Rabona TV on YouTube is also really articulate. But these people are too rare imo for such a popular sport.
1935053808876359809 is not a valid tweet id River lead HT 1-0. Franco play as RW. He was involved in the build up of the goal. Beside that, it seems that he lacks speed as RW
So, even tho he's dyed his hair blonde he's not quite a saeta rubia? Eh well, the name was taken anyway The Japanese team is all heart, no skill. Not enough involvement for Mastantuono so far, sucks cause I'm only watching to see him.
🗣 Xabi Alonso: "Mastantuono? We're happy with Franco because he's a kid with a fantastic present and a brutal future. I was impressed by the conversations I had with him about his ambition and maturity." pic.twitter.com/XfgtBKXAyC— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) June 17, 2025 Xabi Alonso: "Mastantuono? 🚨 Xabi Alonso: "I will NOT tell you what I told Franco Mastantuono, no. It's private. But I really liked him, I'll tell you that." pic.twitter.com/clxSE5iJ3s— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) June 17, 2025 Xabi Alonso: "I will NOT tell you what I told Franco Mastantuono, no. On the other hand it may concern other players who are in competition with Franco for playing time as an AM, looking atm Jude, Brahim and Guler. He might have privately told the teenager he's fully invested and these other guys didn't get the memo just yet.
This signing means that Xabi doesn't trust Arda. At least Franco won't cost us a fortune so it low risk, high reward, I guess.
If we're going with a 4-3-3, I would start the season with an attack of Brahim-Mbappe-Arda with Franco as the first replacement. And I don't even rate him highly. I'm just sick of Vini and Rodrygo.
These decisions are not made by Alonso, or any coach in Real Madrid for that matter. Vinnie is a galactico level in Perez's mind hence he will start. Rodrygo is debatable, so the right side is up for grabs.
