Cory Ashe and Kyle Helton will be great. Having seen them progress through the regional and national programs, they are both bright young american players that have the right stuff for the next level:

Cory has a nice touch, moves well without the ball, and puts a lot of pressure on opponents with his quickness and energy. He is physically and mentally tough and will be a fantastic left wing or possibly even overlapping left back at the next level. He is a good passer and creates a lot of chances for his teammates. Needs to improve his finishing (don't we all!), but there is plenty of time for that. He is fun to watch.

Kyle Helton is a skilled defender. Like Cory, also has a nice touch and physically and mentally tough. Has a lot of composure on the ball (something lacking in many defenders) and will be an excellent outside back at the next level. Has the speed and athletic ability to get up and down the field and overlap down the flank, and the skill to create chances on attacking runs. Has not received as much attention as some other players on the U17s, but has a bright future.

Hope to see them both in MLS someday.

Sorry, this post should have been put under the "U17s in the ACC thread". My bad.
