We've definitely qualified for the Intertoto cup at the very least. A win on sunday gets us into the UEFA cup but anything less than that leaves us open to dropping out of the UEFA places. I look forward to a mid july game against some Albanian plumbers
If Bolton lost and Reading and Pompey both win, that drops you to ninth and even out of Intertoto, unless I'm missing something.
Bolton can finish anywhere from 5th to 9th. It's going to be a tough day for me because the Bolton match isn't going to be shown until 1:45pm Pacific time here in the US. I'm recording all the matches because I don't want to hear any of the scores until I see how our Trotters do. Hopefully I'll be sporting a nice hangover from the LA Galaxy match Saturday night so I'll wake up at around 1pm

Jimmy Armfield the BBC Radio Five football pundit and former Blackpool defender has undergone chemotherapy for non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Armfield was awarded the OBE for services to football in 2000 after winning 43 England caps and making a club record 568 appearances for Blackpool. Yeah, it'd be a stretch for Pompey, with the league's fifth-best home record (11-4-3) and who has something to play for, to beat an Arsenal team that's .500 on the road this year with nothing to play for.
