    PODOLSKI~

Did anyone else notice Giroud stop his run that could have killed that play.

i think embarassment is a bit far but jenkinson has shown (again) that he still needs more time in the oven before he's a finished product (especially now that we're playing an opponent who is willing to attack). i still think he's got the goods but really should be on loan and playing daily in the championship right now instead of being an emergency starter and backup here.

i would think that koscielny is in the lineup there next game.

Now, Arsenal becomes the hunter. And Liverpool is being hunted down.

So far a bit of a mess but then our German attacker who so far looked hopelessly lost out there makes a good run which Cazorla finds easily. Credit to to Giroud for getting out of the way and pulling a def a bit out too.

Both sides pretty sloppy but at least the "will Arsenal ever score" nonsense can stop. Now I'd like to see our defense shut down Liverpool's pretty average attacking and start winning the ball back higher up the pitch.

According to Opta Joe that goal came 14 minutes sooner than our first league goal last season.
