One takeaway from these stats, is if the GOP can keep those numbers with Hispanic voters going forward, the Democrats are going to have a tough time winning elections.

What if the establishment Trump supporters are right?

Like, he says mean and hateful things and talks about tarriffs and deportation roundups and communists and stuff just to get the easily duped to get angry and vote?

And then he's just too lazy to actually implement any of these things? Says he didn't mean it? If you don't watch the news every day and jus tignore him, I might get through these 4 years.

Main issue is that everyone that threw away their principals (if they had any) to get on board the Trump Train 2 has a particularly vile vendetta they want to institute via this unprincipled, lazy-ass leader.

Sounds like you are at the bargaining stage of grief.

Some of them, yes. Others see it as a means to power and more wealth (Elon). Think oligarchy run by people with little understanding of complex issues mixed with sinister fanatics with antiquated religious beliefs.

You act like the president is a project manager for his agenda. This is why he surrounds himself with equally awful people that are not as lazy as him. He failed last time because there were enough merely almost as awful people around him. Those people are gone.

@Sounders78 is correct…you’re in the bargaining stage.

No guardrails means that if he wants to be Putin-esca he can certainly give it a whirl this time. His henchmen are certainly chomping at the bit. We could hope for a magnanimous King Donald but we know he's a vindictive mf'er and wants to make his haters pay. Courts won't save us, cops won't save us. I sense all kinds of ugliness coming. We really have to take it to the streets more than ever.

My goal for the next four years is to make it on to the list of people the government wants exterminated.

And taking it to the streets gives him the chance to unleash the military on the people as he has been desiring to do. It's a lose-lose situation.

Apologies for the tweet…but in real life I’m the guy she’s talking to.

1854515670915973244 is not a valid tweet id

I’m also the one that gets to explain to my right leaning counterparts on the leadership team…including the head…the impact their decisions are about to have not only on our operations…but all of our metrics based bonuses.

As luck would have it…I already have my presentation for next week’s meeting prepared.

The impact of a tariff war with China is going to enormous for my company. The answer to “what are you going to do about it” will be…well…these are all the alternatives we’ve qualified. Oh…and here is the impact if we switch to these.

But those numbers are the same.

    Yep.

    What else can we do?

Well…we can start writing checks to get all this shit here as quickly as possible before we start feeling the impacts of your voting decisions. But that will only delay the inevitable.

We can’t do that…that will blow our working capital target this year.

    Yep.

But look on the bright side…your taxes are gonna be lower. And we’ll all pay no tax on our bonuses…not because of any change in law…but because we won’t be getting them.

Seriously, you do not want that. It's not as much fun as we apparently make it out to be. It's a constant living hell.

About 160 million were registered to vote. About 70 million collect social security.
So I guess that only Dems, like me collect social security.
Well you know I’m not serious. But the younger white non college educated who don’t plan for the future voted for Trump and his policies they don’t understand.
The older ones who collect SS and voted will soon getting the message through to them.

Why not just drink the hemlock? You're not going to do anything to permanently alter the course of this country.

If you DO decide to make yourself a household word (you know what you need to do), and you're successful, make sure to give some kind of shout out to BSP&CE. We will sing your praises until we join you in death.

Yeah, and the more extreme Trumpers want Make-you-a-MAGA camps at the least.

From the Guardian; Putin on Trump

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...ve-updates-donald-trump-victory-kamala-harris

“His behavior at the time of the attempt on his life made an impression on me,” Putin said. “He turned out to be a courageous man. And it’s not just about the raised hand and the call to fight for his and their common ideals ... He behaved, in my opinion, in a very correct way, courageously, like a man.”

He's been awfully quiet on Truth Social. It's weird.

Not a post since an hour before the WC polls closed on Tuesday. Nothing.

That crossed my mind. As President, he’s going to lose out on a lot of his tried and true fundraising grifts.

However, he can always travel to Trump properties and charge his secret service details, etc. jacked up room rates like he did last time. Ripping off taxpayers is fine by him.

He doesn't have to do the work. And unlike last time where his political appointees were split between incompetent nuts and competent "guardrail" types, this time, the people who will do the actual work will be competent enough, but more than that, completely motivated. Destroying the civil service as we know it? Bank on it. Repealing the ACA? Easy. Done. We are fvcked.
