At least now there will be wide open communication lines between Washington and Moscow! (And I don't mean the state and the town in Idaho)

His horribleness of the last 9 years was already baked into the election. They JUST...DON'T...GIVE...A...FVCK. No guardrails, no consequences. This 'Merican experiment will be over pretty soon, folks. Lucky if we make it to the 250th anniversary.

To be fair, I knew the appointments would be nightmarish, the only thing that was yet unclear was how exactly the deck would be shuffled.

It does make you wonder why Trump even bothered with more "normal" appointments four years ago.

The problem is much bigger than this.

It now comes down to even "basic" stuff like intelligence sharing. Now that we have a good reason to suspect there is a direct line of communication between the Director of National Intelligence and the Kremlin, how comfortable are you as a U.S. ally to share very sensitive stuff?

He's already talking in public about not ending his presidency in four years.

The Republican party was less compliant then. Trump himself had no idea what to do and his victory was generally seen as a fluke.

Trying to even imagine his mental state four years from now is impossible.

    From Fred Wellman on BlueSky:

Makes some sense to me. The pressure to confirm the competent villains will be immense if he throws them a few loss leaders. And when I say competent..,I mean they can accomplish what they set out to do…rather than accomplish the purpose of the office and department

I won't take it seriously unless I start seeing some concrete moves happening. Not like we can do anything at this point anyways.

He could've given AG to Gaetz knowing he'd never be confirmed but looking forward to the spicy confirmation hearings -- and then he can nominate Judge Eileen.

I'm as aggrieved as anybody by the fact he draws air, but this looks like garden-variety extemporaneous bullshit. If it comes to pass that the Constitution is amended or simply set aside, we'll have bigger fish to fry than how far into DeathWatch 28 old Donnie manages to hang on. I would guess his odds of making it even four years are not bigly.

    IMHO.

Has she been on Fox News all that much? He seems to go for people on Fox. Maybe Pete Buttigieg will get something! :ROFLMAO:

I’ll be shocked if his corpulent, decaying frame lasts that long. And his mind is well ahead of his body in that process.

Garland, if he's still functioning,.must be very proud of not sullying the institution so he can hand over he reins of the justice department to gaetz.

So, who's arrested first? Pelosi or Harris?
