If I recall correctly…he plead (pleaded?) guilty to the federal charges after being convicted of state level charges in order to serve his prison sentence in a federal prison rather than a state prison. If he’s pardoned he goes to state prison. Not sure he’d particularly enjoy that. Of course I’m sure this SCOTUS could calvinball their way into a ruling that will expand Trump’s pardon power to state crimes committed by police officers against black people.
Reminds me of this... https://www.theguardian.com/environ...all-sick-and-get-diarrhoea-in-sunderland-race
Nonsense. Thousands, no actually millions are going to erect greenhouses on their property and grow bananas.
More from Ed Martin: https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1923349420277428588.html Last night, in the suits brought for FBI agents who worked on Jan. 6 probes, who seek to stop their names from being outed, plaintiffs brought to Judge Cobb's attention the pledge of new DOJ Weaponization "captain" Ed Martin, who pledged to do just that: "We will name them." 1/3
Remember, proles. When offered a $400M luxury plane, you just say "thank you very much" https://bsky.app/profile/thedailyshow.com/post/3lpca4qgc5c26
Dude, it’s all the ones. He’s a fascist. He doesn’t have the same thoughts in his head when he thinks of “truth” and “reality” that you and I do. He doesn’t operate like that.
She endorsed Kamala Harris and never licked his taint the way Kid Rock has. But she's also not touring now. After a huge multi-year tour, it's not unexpected for her to fade into the background a bit. Much to his chagrin, she'll be back.
I think she's gawky with too-big choppers. But to each his own. She could certainly afford a $400M jet if she wants.
Trump approvals are going up, his ratings seem to move in the opposite direction to his Tariffs. "Ipsos has his net approval going from -8 pts to -1 pt with voters. Aggregate has him up higher than late April too & much higher than at this point in term 1." Time for a reality check... I think some folks thought Trump's approval rating would keep falling, but it's rising.Ipsos has his net approval going from -8 pts to -1 pt with voters. That's despite the fact America still has a baseline 10% tariff against everyone, that didn't exist 6 months ago. The average American voter is a ********ing moron. In the words of JVL "good luck America"
Just saw that post. I mean, classic Trump rant. Oh, and he also ranted on SCOTUS today as well. I'm guess they didn't pack the right meds.
As strange as it seems, the humidity in some of those places might drive you crazy. It's even worse than the Florida he may or may not be used to.
Only if the Trump administration continues the process of weaponizing the DoJ against his political opponents. Comey posted a picture of seashells that spelled out "8647" and conservatives freaked out claiming Comey was saying to assassinate Trump. The most common use of 86 is to "get rid of" or "throw out", or, in this case, Comey wants Trump to be kicked out of office. https://www.npr.org/2025/05/16/nx-s1-5400400/comey-trump-8647-investigation-instagram
From that article: And some have found examples of prominent conservatives using the "86" slogan over the years, digging up far-right influencer Jack Posobiec's 2022 tweet reading: "86 46." In 2024, then-Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., used the term to describe Republicans who had been removed from office, which did not cause notable controversy at the time.
