since I was told to be nice to them in the "Trump Presidency thread", that thread is just two MAGAs cheering him on. Notice neither one posted about the BBB. I've seen & heard enough non-MAGA conservatives bitch about that bill. Another broken promise by him. He said he would reduce spending and lower the deficit. WRONG!!

 

He says what he can remember being told to say. That guy hasn't had an original thought in decades. The Project 25 folk are the ones pulling the strings, Miller in particular.

and this is why he'll start "deporting" U.S. citizens. It's believed ICE agents have a weekly quota to hit. They'll run out of illegals and migrants soon. Then they'll go after U.S. criminals, then random citizens who oppose him. That Alligator Alcatraz's purpose is to torture and deport U.S. citizens.

 

I hadn't quite realized until yesterday just how big an increase ICE is getting. It's kind of nuts.

Hard to shake the idea that this article gives Trump more agency and reflection than I would agree with, but in terms of placing his actions and effects historically it's bang-on. The deck chairs on the Titanic were never described so well.

What are you talking about? That tweet doesn't claim that ICE's budget would near a trillion dollars, but 37.5 billion dollars.

 

$37 billion is almost a trillion in the same way you almost accurately read that chart.
