A goal every other game. If Josh became top scorer this season, would he be the first Yank to do it in a top 10 European league?
Ouch! Shoulder injuries are tricky. He could be out for the rest of the season or until early next season and anything in between
Does anyone know why Paramount+ doesn't carry Norwich games anymore? They don't have this one and didn't have the last one.
I always assumed that Paramount's deal didn't cover all games - that a certain amount of games are only covered by the clubs?
Down 3-1 in the second half to playoff-chasing Millwall - you did read that right - extinguishing their faint hopes of making the playoffs instead. Time for Josh's agent to start working the phones
This is correct - they don't have the rights to show everything - the public announcement mentions a "minimum" of 3-4 matches per matchday, but is quiet about the max.
Now we wait an update on the severity of his shoulder injury. There was nothing in the prematch info that I could find.
Yeah, they made it sound like it might be something he could play through initially. Hopefully that remains the case and they shut him down now if needed.
He should shut himself down if they don't. With today's loss the club's season is definitively over and it's about rebuilding for next season for them and finding a new club for him. Getting crocked in a dead rubber is in nobody's interests.
Sargent was named to the EFL Championship Team of the Season: 1916552921522520245 is not a valid tweet id The league award is relatively recent, but if you include the much older PFA Championship Team of the Year as well, Sargent joins Antonee Robinson, Tim Ream, Marcus Hahnemann, and Brad Friedel in the list of Americans who have been named to an official Championship Best XI.
Also Sarge went 90 in the 0-0 tie yesterday v. Middleboro, so the shoulder seems not to be a worry. He's put in 2x90's since.
Somehow does not make the scoresheet despite Norwich putting four goals past Horvath, aided by an early red to Calum Chambers. Did hit the post once. Open question as to whether he'll be eligible for Norwich player of the year next season.
1929657745327747565 is not a valid tweet id Roma evaluating Sargent for a transfer. It would be interesting to see him in Serie A
Roma have had some great kits over the years. If we were talking Roma Kappa kits. I would 100% purchase one if Sargent went there. Adidas? Woof. No way.
He's far too good for the Championship and always has been. He should do OK in Serie A anyway, but Roma are about to appoint Gasperini as head coach. If they stick with him over time - not exactly a given in Italy and especially at Roma - that'd be a great place to land
I don't know man......... That little pop of golden orange on their kit may match his curly rug perfectly. Maybe even overwhelmingly so.
