Josh still Norwich MOTM with a goal and assist, but wish he had buried one of his other shots, especially the first which just went wide. He and Haji could have continued their EFL goal scoring competition from last season. Haji already ahead in that department. :)

NCFC need to stop conceding so much if they want to push for promotion. Conceding 4 goals in two games isn’t good enough.

Their keeper saved one of three shots. They need to replace the Scot.

I would've guessed Brentford given that Ivan Toney appears to be on the move and their new striker picked up what looks to be a long-term injury, but Bournemouth also needs help up top.

Selfishly, I like it when YAs are grouped into the same team so I don’t have to watch as many footie matches, and this goes for all the top leagues. Hopefully this deal goes through.

Sargent going to Brentford or Bournemouth still means you only need to watch one team regularly, because god knows Adams won't play more than 10 games all season.

Sarge has proven himself top Championship quality over a large enough sample size. Time for a test in a top league again. Not sure I love the EPL for him but that’s ok.

Is Norwich admitting they don’t have enough to compete for promotion? Seems a little odd to sell their best player.

Yes but Brentford suck. Not at the level of Chelsea, but they are still bad human beings. Bournemouth are mostly harmless.

On the "Sargent to Leeds" front, LUFC are now in major need of another forward:

Well... they purchased him for 35m, but still, I thought he was gonna be an albatross for them! He found his level last season, but I'm a little surprised to see him moving up to the prem.

BTW, Rutter's last two moves were both "club record purchases". Kid has a killer agent.

I'm inclined to think the same, but given Brighton's track record I'm going to reserve judgement.

Bournemouth sell Solanke. They're making enquiries!
Leeds sell star forward! They're interested in Sargent!

He's going to be linked to any team in need of a a forward between now and 11.45 on the 30th

TBF he's been linked to them both in the past 6 months or so.

Edit: dug up a report from May connecting Sargent to both Leeds and Bournemouth

Rutter was a punk. C'mon 9'ers, let's get Sarge in there. Joseph isn't ready for the 9 but will make a great forward partner for Sarge.
