At this point with how he's struggled I have to wonder if they need better doctors.

Uh... guys... Sarge played 2000+ minutes last season, despite ankle surgery.

Perhaps reports of his career ending might be a bit premature.

Maybe so, but even bad doctors have examined him and have expertise. We are all just wanking. :ROFLMAO:

Not healthy enough to play tomorrow. Gotta imagine he'll sit out for the Copa.

totally OT, but I hate things being called "Copa's" because my addled grey matter immediately cranks some ghost Barry Manilow in the jukebox of my lizard brain and I have it playing on loop for hours.

Hopefully, now you do too. Misery loves company.

I'm assuming the guys show up to camp for the world class medical staff/rehab instructions... realistically speaking Sargent should just rest this summer. His whole thing is that his ankle needs rest as to not be so sore.

It has a great hook. A great hook in a song makes up for a lot of weaknesses. It’s like speed in an athlete or a person’s sense of humor. ;)

that is because liking that song is, indeed, inexplicable, yet appears, for some god forsaken reason, to happen.

I had access to his live album when I was a kid. He did a medley of all the commercial jingles he either wrote or helped record. If you’re over 60, those jingles are like the TV soundtrack of your childhood. It’s an impressive list of jingles. He was like the Bob Dylan or Beatles of commercial jingles ca. 1970.

Poor Barry. He had to put up with Bette Middler as her pianist early on too. She can be funny but seems a real diva. Guy had a bunch of schlocky songs but made a fortune.
