Josh says in this interview that while it was disappointing that he wasn't with the team in the March camp, that the week off that he had during the international break seems to have really helped him with the ankle, says it's "in a really good place right now". ~ 5.35 minute mark if you don't feel like watching the full interview. Also, seems like he is jacked for Copa and really hopes he earns a call up.

I enjoyed the information gleaned from the interview but the interviewers had me cringing the whole time. Why are they trying to sound like they are “gangstas”… just speak normally.

Every match is big when you're (#6 and) battling for a spot in the promotion playoffs, but today's match against #7/8 Preston NE could be the most important one, as PNE (and Coventry) have a game in hand (over Norwich). Though perhaps unlikely, if PNE win today and run the table, they and Coventry (potentially) would max out at 78, while Norwich's potential maximum would be just 77. A win today would put Norwich comfortably in the driver's seat, with three matches left.

    Norwich schedule (4):

@ Preston NE (T-7th, game in hand)
v Bristol City (12th, no hope)
v Swansea City (15th, no danger)
@ Birmingham City (23rd, currently 1 point from 21st and safety)

    Preston NE schedule (5):

    v Norwich City (6th)
@ Southampton (4th, but stuck there)
@ QPR (T-17th, should be safe from relegation)
    v Leicester City (T-1st, battling for auto-promotion)
@ West Brom (5th, barring collapse, securely in promotion playoff)

    Coventry schedule (5):

    @ Birmingham City (23rd)
    v Hull City (T-9th)
    @ Blackburn (T-17th)
    v Ipswich Town (T-1st)
    v QPR (T-17th)

Note that Coventry also have to play an FA Cup semifinal v Manchester Utd.

A 1-0 victory over Preston puts paid to the Lancashire side's, admittedly slender, playoff hopes and maintains some distance between Norwich and Hull, while Coventry's loss to Birmingham effectively puts an end to their playoff chances. With a gap of 6 points, Hull, who have a game in hand and a -8GD, are the only side that can realistically hope to catch the Canaries.

One more win should be enough for Josh to see post-season action

Games where he doesn't score is a letdown.

Norwich get a point against Bristol today. Josh with a very unselfish assist to tie the game. He was one v one with the keeper on a breakaway and passed it off to Sainz for the open goal tap in.

Goal comes near the end (dangerously close to being OS for my liking) but also check out Sarge's shot off the post in the opening minutes... nice turn.

I only saw 3 highlights from Josh, but they were very good ones. The goal was all him.

Absolutely terrible defending on 3 or 4 occasions by Norwich. The keeper bailed them out big time on a few occasions. If they get promoted, they are going to get ravaged next season without a lot of help.

It's 2-2 late in the game.

Dude just made that header look simple. It ain’t simple at all. Well done. Sargent is in pole position for my YA POY. 16 goals with missing 4 months. Imagine that goal tally with those 4 months back…. We’d be talking about one of the best all-time YA seasons.

This is turning into a "hot potato" playoff position race - no one seems to want it. Norwich grabbing a point looks like it could be the gain of the weekend as Leeds lost, West Brom lose and Hull City are losing 2-1 at the half. Ipswich hoping to grab the #2 and hang on. As it stands Norwich in 5th, with a pretty poor Brum in the last game. Barring Hull turning this around, I think Norwich are certain to be in the playoffs, no matter what happens. But there's sill a long 45 mins in the Hull/Ipswich game.
