http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/feb5d.html Juventus 48 points Inter 45 Roma 45 Milan 41 Fiorentina 36 Atalanta 33 Palermo 28 Sampdoria 28 Udinese 28 Napoli 27 Genoa 26 Reggina 25 Lazio 24 Livorno 23 Catania 21 Siena 21 Parma 19 Torino 18 Cagliari 16 Empoli 15
This just goes to show how false everything intermerda has done the past two seasons really is. INTERMERDAOPOLI.
True. But it was also GdS leading the pro-Inter charge during calciopoli. Maybe they are feeling guilty for doing all Inter's dirtywork with story after story going after Juve and Milan. It's a shame really. Even with all the advantages Inter gained after calciopoli they still need the help from the refs to win the scudetto.
FIGC should officially recognise this version of the table and carry on the season with it... otherwise everybody will know that this season is just another FIGC awarded paper scudetto for Mafinter and Lucky Moratti. With this table (published by a media source which is usually stauchly anti-Juve, and many media around the world have brought light to Inter's cheating this year), the real picture is clear and its a four way title race between Juve, Inter, Roma and Milan, considering the latter have more games in hand.
They're pro-Milan first, followed by Inter and Juve. Notice how many points Milan have even with a game in hand. The hell with gazzetta dello SPORC
I agree with that ladder. I knew we couldn't be that bad. BTW, this ladder shows that the Serie A race shouldn't be as one-sided as it is and that small clubs like Reggina get screwed again and again. If they did this last year, I'm sure that Reggina - not including their points deduction - would have been in the CL spots.
According to their list referees only made mistakes against Juve and Milan. Everyone else's games were either perfect or with the advantage going to said team. What a crock of sh!t that article is, I can't believe it gets reprinted in international media. No wonder we get mocked.
Leave those useless table alone, they don't mean anything. Sorry, but i've read the article and it was more detailed then it is in this international version. In fact, every single team have had pros and cons. They simply get all previous moviola judge made by GdS and put them together. But, as i said before, this is useless and doesn't mean anything.
And they couldn't be bothered to put such an accurate and accredited story on their website? All I know is that in the article I read it seemed that Inter, Juve, and Milan were the most affected teams. I looked at Roma and the list left them at 45 points, so all our games were perfect according to that article. However that wasn't the case. On more than one occasion we had penalty kicks denied to us. One if memory serves correct against Empoli, which we tied. Just a bunch of propaganda if you ask me, and considering the amount of money that clubs like Milan and Juve have it's all a bit tasteless in my opinion. Especially coming from Milan, which should have realized they needed to do some serious rebuilding regardless of winning the Champions League.
Why should they? They must sell their newspaper, what's the deal in putting all the articles on the website? Anyway, this is the little piece of article on GdS: http://www.gazzetta.it/community//Calcio/SerieA/Primo_Piano/2008/02_Febbraio/05/arbitri_full.shtml If you can read italian, you would see "... on GdS of today, a journey through the first 21 fixtures... Catania is the most facilitated, Milan is the most penalized... " On another site i've found that Catania have had 8 pros against 3 cons, while Juve have had 6 pros against 9 cons. http://www.birreriafelix.it/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2436 "In base agli episodi più discussi il Milan risulta essere la squadra più maltrattata con quattro episodi favorevoli e nove contrari. La più favorita il Catania con otto decisioni favorevoli contro tre. Appena dietro la squadra siciliana, c'è l'Inter. E la Juve? I bianconeri, secondo quanto riportato dalla Gazzetta, hanno sei situazioni favorevoli contro nove contrarie. Bilancio delle prime 21 giornate di campionato: le sorprese non mancano." As I already said, those table has been here from long ago, and every serious person have judge them no more than bullshit. And, mind you, I'm a Juve fan.
Not necessarily. Maybe Roma had points taken off, such as the one where Totti was clearly offside when he scored against Juventus and then points were added back on for contentious decissions against Roma in other games.
