18-year-old Florian Wirtz is the only player with 5+ goals and 5+ assists in the Bundesliga so far this season:◎ 11 games◉ 5 goals◉ 6 assistsThe definition of a wonderkid. 🤩 pic.twitter.com/bvlvMZL469— Squawka (@Squawka) November 28, 2021 Florian Wirtz has now become the first 18 year old in league history to reach 11 Bundesliga goals. pic.twitter.com/CpriTiMrXw— Bayer 04 Leverkusen (@bayer04_en) November 28, 2021 🅰🔝🇦🇷 Asistencia TOP de Exequiel Palacios a Florian Wirtz para el primero del Bayer Leverkusen.https://t.co/yc9EhV70QN— Secta Deportiva (@SectaDeporOk) November 28, 2021

Werner had arguably his worse performance in a Chelsea shirt yesterday. Tuchel certainly wasn't impressed.
He needs to position himself better in the box, there were a few times when low crosses came in where a natural finisher would have got closer to goal for an easy finish, but Werner held back for some reason. I guess he’s not long back from injury plus should play better alongside Lukaku, but yeah, he needs to do better then that.
Werner is simply not good enough, however much I respect Flick, and I am big fan of Flick, putting faith in Werner will ultimately be his fatal mistake…
NOt sure if we had discussed this but Did Bierhoff not announce the other day that they want to make sure that Germany wins a big trophy( I assume WC and or Euros) every decade. 1950's - WC 1960's - 1970's - WC and Euros 1980's - Euros 1990's - WC and Euros 2000's - 2010's WC 2020's -??? In a way the 70's and 90's made up for the 60's and 2000 But if you look back the odd decades vs the even decades the odd ones where defiantly the better ones. we are currently in an even decade mhhhhhhh But lets hope we don't have to wait another 10 years or so for another trophy. 54 72 74 80 90 96 14 So years ending with a 4 or 0 are very good for us, years ending with an 8 very bad.... So is 2024 our year ????
Then if you Germans have lost faith in Werner then who do you slot into that center forward role? Werner is probably your most natural center forward because that is his natural position even though I think he should be much better
I like Werner, his movement and link up are world class, at this point he is the best option for the NT and he has done well so far under Flick. He can still improve certain aspects, but I feel he gets a tough deal from some fans and media. If you’re looking at alternatives, it’s either Havertz as a false 9 or one of the younger CF’s. I hope all three of Adeyemi, Burkardt and Nmecha can continue to develop and get double figures this season, but you can’t honestly say that at this point any of those should be starting ahead of Werner.
Think its a psychological thing with Werner with Chelsea/ Premier league/ move abroad. He started with missing chances ( maybe because of his pricetag and feeling forced to deliver). And it seems like its hard to break this bad spell. And now he is a laughing stock to an extent in England which does not make it easier. Dont think its about premier league is tougher etz. He is now missing chances he would have burried in Leipzig. Would wish for him to change club to somewhere he can start fresh
TRUE✅ Ralf Rangnick wants to discuss a Transfer of Timo Werner to @ManUtd in Summer. Rangnick bought Werner for @RBLeipzig from Stuttgart and pushed his career. Rangnick is also close to @TTuchelofficial of @ChelseaFC pic.twitter.com/49yzLdfjLP— Christian Falk (@cfbayern) December 1, 2021
Not s Not sure. His game time at man united could also be limited considering the quality of forwards they have. Ronaldo Sancho Rashford Greenwood Cavani Martial
This is quite interesting how football has progressed... Germany VS Hungary in the final 1954 Turek - Posipal, Kohlmeyer - Eckel, Liebrich, Mai - H. Rahn, Morlock, O. Walter, F. Walter, H. Schäfer setup was a 2 Defenders - 3 MF - 5 Attackers 2-3-5
Burkhardt with a goal and Wirtz with an assist from a set piece. Havertz out injured after 45 min against West Ham
Havertz link up play before his injury was quality. Wirtz going to be a once in a generation player, got Hugh raps on him.
Hummels had a desatrous game against Bayern today. I don't doubt his motivation and International football is in general slower than club football but I think he should retire from the NT.
Flick was in Leverkusen game and then an hour later he was in Dortmund…is Leverkusen to Dortmund only an hour drive?
