I will target Conrad if he accept a 100K cut in his salary and Salas for 40K less....

Conrad would be a great pick up...would make for some fantastic depth in the CB position.

No way Conrad is around when we pick, but agreed he would be a great acquisition.

It really depends on the price.

    I'd consider Conrad.

I'd also consider Seitz - I can't believe he lost that much talent that quickly.

He will go to Vancouver or Portland, because on the RB he will be a bench player, Backe will not sit Rafa or Ream for him and 240K for a bench player is to much bananas and this others team yes they will offer him at least that much....

We already have Andrew W.C. Boyens as our backup CB. He is a darn good backup at a reasonable price.

Rafa is not going to play centerback. Conrad would be an upgrade over mendes. Also its all moot anyway until the second round as you can not renegotiate until then.

Round one over. None of our players taken and we selected no one.

With all the vets available I was expecting that but round 2 will be very interesting as lots of valuable guys if they accept a lower salary can be available and could help a team out

Yeah, this will be a full week of agents working the phone to a zillion teams trying to find a place for their guy.

Could expect to see some definite movement this time. I would guess at least 5 players will move in this round.

Glad they are moving West rather than landing locally with Philly, DC, or New England.

LA Galaxy is quite the haven for former Red Bulls.

And that's not a coincidence considering Bruce Arena is the coach there.

Good for JPA. He lands in a great situation and a team with a lot of talent around him. He will not be asked to be the main target point. He will get great service from the likes of Beckham and Donovan and he will have a strong partner up top in Edson Buddle. I think LA helped themselves with the move.

While we are all sad to see him go, better he go to LA than the scum.

I'm kinda surprised we didn't take anyone but I guess RB decided there was no one worth taking.

so soccerbyIves just reported that JPA might not be taking DP money and that the Red Bulls never broached that option with him..Interesting I think, anyway, I think his time with us had come to an end and that was probably the right decision...
