Why you gotta bring up old stuff?? (For those who don't follow baseball, Padres had to sweep the Giants in the last series of the year to ensure a playoff berth. They won the first two and then got shutout in the last game. Basically blowing it in game #162. This is two years after forcing a 1 game playoff against the Rockies and losing in extra innings, aka blowing it in game #163.9. FML)
I saw them play this summer when I was there....PETCO is a beautiful ballpark. I like the fact that you can purchase seats outside the stadium for $10, or sit on that hill next to the Gwynn statue for $5. I actually sat in the stadium, I just like the concept lol. Hey does anyone have FIFA11 or PES2011? If so, what are your thoughts?
I usually start in my seat, but depending on how I'm feeling sobriety-wise by the 9th I may end up laying in the grass on Tony Gwynn hill. It went great, actually. It was really good. A lot of their specialty dogs can be really hit or miss. They're probably best known for the foie gras dog they introduced when Chicago briefly banned foie gras a couple years ago. They still serve it, but I think it tastes pretty rank. Though to be fair, I've never actually had foie gras in a normal setting, so I may just not like it at all. You can check out some of their other specials to get an idea of what they do. Mmmmm. I don't know who Cedric Martinez is but that linguica sounds good... as does the buffalo chicken... and the one with coca-cola bbq sauce!! I got to check out Hot Doug's once a few years ago, I think I had a chicken and rice one that was really good and another one that I can't remember right now. The line was crazy.
