I have had an off topic conversation about this matter in other threads, however I think it deserves a thread of it's own. I feel that money has ruined many aspects of our game. It has complete devastated the Scottish game, especially in consideration of the success of Dundee United and Aberdeen i europe in the early to mid 80's. It has created a huge divide between the rich and the poor clubs and just as the case in our daily lives the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.

I however am not sure of how we could remedy the situation to prevent these clubs being able to buy literally anyone who is willing to move to their club. Wage limits is one possible solution or maybe a trade system where no money is involved (this will prevent the poaching of young talent as happens in Scotland by the Old Firm).

Maybe a sort of Welfare State safey net?
