You can be lazy in certain matches when your carrying the attack like ronaldo and putting up 60 goals. The fact that he is playing this bad and still wont even put a shift in pisses me off even more. weak ass player.
He needs to be benched. Give someone else a chance. He’s got to work in training and when he’s on the pitch put in the defensive work. He’s clearly not there mentally.
He needs to be sold. Next summer. The team look worse with him than without him. In any formation and with whatever other players are on the pitch.
I was gonna wait to the end of the season to pull out the MCrappe chants, but boy does he suck right now. I only saw the last six minutes and in that time he managed to lose the ball in midfield, and shoot over the bar from a good position (that was offside). He’s lost all confidence and it shows. In the World Cup he took penalties at proper high stakes and converted each time, looked like a cold blooded killer. This, is not that.
He’s not just useless, he’s actively detrimental to the team. He should receive an extended stay on the bench. Endrick wont do any worse (it isn’t possible).

He's out partying every night... that was the rumor in France for the last 18 months that he's drinking and hitting the clubs every single night. It seems like it's continuing in Madrid. It's impossible otherwise. You don't lose cardio, speed and reaction if you're training hard, sleeping well, and eating properly. He literally looks slow. Compare that to 2 years ago... when Kyle Walker couldn't keep up with his speed. Kyle Walker. He had to give Mbappe 5 meters of space because he needed a running start to keep pace. Carvajal was absolutely molested by Mbappe along with Militao when PSG played Madrid. Now, he can't run past anyone. And his efficiency... this is a guy who's scored on over 20 percent of his shots for his career, and that includes CL. He's probably at less than 10 percent this season. He's always missed penalties, so that's not new though. But he NEVER missed PKs in big games. Never. It was automatic. He would lose concentration against smaller teams.

That was the case in the past. He sucked as a 9 and torched everyone as a winger. Now he's sucking at both. Without speed, he's better off siting at the 9 now though.

I personally think that Deschamps feels that the performance level isn't worth the circus that surrounds him.
