Maybe he’s pretending he didn’t read it and thought no one would notice. :D

This dude is P.S.G fan his only purpose is to talk trash about Kyilan and RM.
i can understand him. after you get your ass kicked by RM time after time and your best player leaves for free to the club you hate most in the world it's makes you bitter and delusional.

I should have said the top CM not approaching 30 or over it. Certainly was one of the top 5 CMs period. CM... not DM or CAM. CM. We paid 35 million euros for him, which was, at the time, the 2nd highest transfer fee paid ever for a CM after Zidane (who was a lot more).

The top CMs back then were Modric, Xavi, Yaya Toure, Pirlo, and I'll even put Schweinsteiger in there although he was a DM. ff you really want to get technical and say Schweini was a DM.. then replace him with Marchisio.

Chelsea offered 50 million for Modric but the Spurs wouldn't sell to a rival.

That Mbappé is not a CF but he needs to get it in his head that this is where he's going to play because Vinicius is a difference maker on the left. That you can't move the best player on that position away from it, so basically Mbappe has to arrange it with himself that he'll be a CF from now on and potentially rotate on the left.

Not sure it's doing us any favors to be honest, really just more doom and gloom.

The idea that Mbappe is so good, he will figure it out, is the rhetoric most had during the beginning of the season.

There might be a chance that he’ll never be an ideal #9 for Madrid which is a waste.

IMHO he should have gotten all that in his head and "arranged that with himself" long long before he even got here if he was serious about coming, and that should have included management at all levels speaking to him, you are right, if he's still trying to work that out and there's ambiguity there then it's really not doing us any favours

The interview just threw a torch into the locker room. Reminds me of Samuel Etoo setting a team of fire by talking too much.

Not sure who Benzema's statements serve but they reflect badly on the club.

Benzema and Mbappe are friends. One of the few for Benzema that played for France. If Benzema suddenly makes such statements, he’s passing a message along for Mbappe.

Benzema never talks about such things except when he needs to refute something about himself. That says enough.

Btw, here’s the article and the direct translation

    https://rmcsport.bfmtv.com/football...tes-de-mbappe-en-espagne_AV-202411050222.html

“For me, the problem is that he’s not a center forward. He’s just not. Every time he plays 9 for the national team, he’s not good. It’s not his position. The problem is that on the left there’s another player similar to him. Same level, Vinicius. So there is a problem…”
    Benzema.

Agreed. Not sure what all this does by making grand statements publicly. Mbappe is trying to learn the 9. As I’ve mentioned, he’s going to struggle at it for a good season because it is extremely different than left wing. My worry is that he was complete dog poop at 9 prior to Madrid, the few times he played there.

Benzema was a striker who also preferred the left flank. Difference being he knew how to play central striker, had somewhat an aerial game and knew how to link up play.

The turtle still has a lot to learn.

Fraudbappe should have been on the right from the start with Jude as a false 9 but instead we got this disaster of a formation and horrendous football

    Please communicate like an adult.

This is exactly the kind of stuff I reference when I say that if I wouldn't support this club I'd enjoy to see them lose.

It's not about his position, he just hasn't been playing well.

False. He was a CF. Being a CF doesn't mean you won't drift one side or another now and then. He played CF at Lyon (Malouda then Govou were on the left) and CF at Madrid.

Uncle Flo staked some of his reputation on the Mbappe signing. We all know what that means. So sooner or later, Mbappe will either do well at 9 or get moved to his favorite position. I think Vini leaves this summer anyhow for Saudi Arabia most likely.

Do you think your team P.S.G will win tomorrow or Atletico will defeat them?

Vini leaving to Arabia is close to impossible. He knows he can go there in 10 years after he's achieved all he wanted in Europe and they'll offer him the same salary, or something close. Makes zero sense to go now.

Flo kicking him out is also close to impossible. If he'd kick one out it's probably Mbappe. Because Vini is a guarantee for top performances and class, Mbappe not really. Mbappe is a good footballer but uncapable of lifting his team up. He can either do it all by himself or not do anything, he won't make everybody else be better. Vini, on the other hand, does just that whenever Madrid needs it.
