Nobody here asked for a three page war report on Mbappé every week from somebody who suddenly became a Madrid fan because of him and referred to Real Madrid fans as "you people" before.

We see what's going on with our own eyes, amtch discussion goes into the match thread. "OK guys, here's my match report!" like, who asked for this?

Turning the Mbappe thread into some sort of personal blog is annoying.

I mean its pretty easy to ignore anyone's posts. Its not like anyone else is posting here on demand. I dislike the poster as much as the next person (although for different reasons) but he's well within his rights to stan Mbappe and express that sentiment here, as long as he's not being offensive. Maybe there are people that are interested in his analyses. From my POV it just looks like youre annoyed and lashing out. Live and let live man.

It's about thread management, at some point threads become an annoyance rather than an asset.

It's safe to assume Mbappe is a massive underachiever for not reaching the heights of Messi, Haaland or Cristiano goalscoring wise...

Mbappe was expected to immediately hit the ground running once coming to the reiging UCL and La Liga winners. But Mbappe has looked extremely underwhelming so far.

For Mbappe's sake, let's hope he can quickly improve his form.

He's one goal short of Lewandowski in the goalscoring table. If that's extremely underwhelming the rest of the attack is full of peg legged cripples.

9 players (Mbappe included) have scored 3 La Liga goals with the Frenchman playing more minutes than anyone else between them.

    https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/spanish-la-liga/top-scorers

Mbappe was coming to La Liga with the reputation as world's best player", the comparison with Haaland and projected to score goals for fun like the afromentioned players in my previous post. Mbappe has definitely underachieved so far, so it's a fair statement IMO.

That said, Mbappe has still time to turn around.

Only 1 player has scored a single goal more than him, so you can see it as a glass half full as I do, or a glass full of shit as you do.

I don't think Mbappe has been pulling any trees out but he's been with us for less than three months while Haaland has been with his team for three years.

And Mbappe has worse min/goal ratio among all 9 players sharing 3 La Liga goals. Are you allergic to facts?

Haaland dropped 6 goals in his first 4 Premier League games for Man City. Mbappe was expected to immediately perform just as good as the Norweigan. Which he has failed at unfortunately...

Yes yes, Mbappe has failed, he will fail, he is a failure, we know now. Don’t have to hear this shit every week.

    Can we move forward now?

Common, that's not even a fair comparison. Jovic arrived to be a backup player to Benzema and never had the club parading itself publicly like a streetwalker trying to trying to seduce a client.

Joviic's sparse and sporadic playing time probably contributed to his career stagnation. The fact that the team was relying on Hazard and Bale to be the "star" players and carry the load probably also contributed to the team having to rely more on Benz and meant less opportunities for a backup to play.

Almost completely different from what should be expected of Mbappe, who walked right into the starting lineup of a squad that just completed a CL and La Liga double and should have entered the season absolutely humming like a fine tuned engine full of confidence with what they do and how they do it.

Is he still the worst player ever?

It's getting better still at least individually. He's shooting from different angles than he's used to so his finishing needs some work... but he'll get there.

I still want to see a lot more combinations with Vini and Rodrygo. I feel like they have no idea what the other is going to do. Good example is that Mbappe made a diagonal run to open space for Rodrygo, not to receive the ball. But Rodrygo didn't take the space and tried to get him the ball. Good intention by Rodrygo but the wrong decision. Also, Mbappe is missing passes left and right to both because he's anticipating different movements from them.

I expected a bit better chemistry after 7 games frankly.

He'll come through and is doing well.
Should of scored 1 more today he dribbled past a player very well but shot it at the keeper.

He works hard and im sure is aware of what he needs to improve and it seems like he will.

The title of this thread makes me think Redondo though and is irking me every time I open it :D

5 goals in 7 games while struggling by his standards... isn't bad lol. Imagine what it will be once he gets really going.

He's our teams top scorer, so I don't know what that says about the rest of the team.

We didn't remove somebody to plug him in, the volume scorers from last season are actually playing right now.

He said he can do better and we all see very often he is in the right position but shooting just not there.

We should cash in on Vinicius while we still can and while his price is still high, put Mbappe on LW which is his primary position and put Endrick on number 9. This would be my dream case scenario. Mbappe would have been much better if he played on the left. I've never really liked Vinicius and his attitude towards the away fans and I believe this is a win win scenario for us and for him if he leaves as soon as possible. Mbappe would be better and Vinicius could be a main star in the new club.

Yeah, let's sell the guy who scored in two champions league finals for us, both of which YOU bet on our opponent to win and you stated would delete your account if Real Madrid won. :D

Vinicius has taken you to the cleaners too many times.
