This is what happens when Mbappe goes left:

8 minute mark... Barcola goes central and give him the ball on the left early in transition.

9 minute mark... Barcola goes central and Griezmann feeds Mbape the ball early on the left in transition.

I don't think you understand that most folks here want France to lose, if and just for Deschamps to be fired.

I understand you think you're cracking the DaVinci code here but Mbappé will be OK in Madrid after a bit of an adaptation period.

What he does for his national team is mostly insignificant to be honest.

    You know what..

I'm OK with the nonsense you put out here every now and then (or every day nowadays). I'm not a moderator and I'm also in no position to tell you or anyone to stop this. However, I know you are here posting under the disguise of being a Real Madrid fan, it is and was clear to many of us a long time ago. Indeed, the only thing you do is criticize Mbappe after it was clear he was going to leave your club, PSG.

I'll give you an update: we all have known and followed Mbappe for 10+ years. We all have seen his rise and continued success everywhere he went. We all know his strengths, weaknesses, challenges and opportunities for improvement. In short, all know Mbappe and really don't need any 'inside info' or 'expert opinion' on the matter, particularly when it's in bad faith. He is and will be fine, he's Mbappe not Jovic.

Hahahah, guy acts like he discovered Mbappé and still some unknown prodigy.

We don’t care what he does for France, i’d be happy if they play your kolo and thuram and just leave Kylian in Madrid.

There is a slight chance that he is actually a RM fan. There are fans, who are always writing/talking in negative way. He was writing the other day that he will be stripped of captaincy of national team. :D
As much as I hate Deschamps, he is not that dumb and will never change the captain because he is not playing well.
Moreover, the fact that he is not far away from his best form and is still France's best player.

Dude, you can't be serious. Mbappe has more scored goals than all of those players combined. Probably he even outscored them before his 21st birth day.
Mbappe is a generational level talent. It is like comparing Cristiano Ronaldo with Robinho, Robben and Ribery. They were all not bad players but Cristiano was on a completely different level to all of them.
So, relax dude, Mbappe will be fine for at least 3-4 years.

What I find funny is that some of our most legendary players like Zidane, Modric and CR7 struggled when they first arrived at RM and yet…. There are some here that are already writing Mbappe off. Good times.

Fair criticism does not equal “he’s washed”

He’s got 3 goals in 5 games. Not to the level of expectations we have but certainly he’s not a bust nor even close to being one given his play and the chances he’s creating.

I'm not saying he's washed at all. I'm saying that he's going to have to learn to play the 9 and the great Mbappe of the past was a winger, not a 9.

So if club, country or himself (or a combo thereof) want Mbappe to be a 9 now, we have little data to support whether he will be a great player in the role. His previous play at the position was a very mixed bag.

The other point is that the 9 role plays to his weaknesses, while the winger role plays to his strengths.

    These are my points.

Last point is that, if he isn't good enough as a 9 for France or Madrid, he will lose playing time. Not groundbreaking here. For France, he's played CF for the last 7 games... 1 goal (pk) and 1 assist in those 7 games. For Madrid... 5 games and 3 goals. So it looks better for club. Nothing earth-shattering, but better.

The question is, is he better when he laces the right boot first, or the left boot? There are differing opinions, i think this deserves to be studied.

He needs time to adapt, and I’m not talking about the club, but to his new position. Plus, France as a whole isn’t going through a great period, so his stats are understandable.

Everyone's got spoiled with Jude and Cristiano who arrived at Madrid up and running.

While forgetting the fact that Modric and Zidane existed.

Ronaldo got out scored by Higuain in the League in hsi first season as both stepped all over their feet on multiple occasions and Bellingham's second half of the season was arguably mediocre.

I just don't see an issue as we're so early in the season it's still game to game stuff. You see overreactions like "he is shot, looks like an idiot" or that he ruined the team but we're used to the people doing that.

You can’t say Jude’s second half of the season was mediocre, but I agree with your second point. Deep down (being a bit more critical), I think the club needs a change, especially in the front three. At least one of them will probably leave, just like players have left in the past to make room for better ones, so to speak.

His performances really cratered and it continues at the euro, no matter how much certain fans want to shield their own.

What the reason for that was is up to debate, most likely injury, but Vinicius carried us home for the second half of the season.

Ronaldo was injured for some time during that season and despite that he still scored more than Higuain overall.

I agree with your point tho.

Ronaldo wasn’t even the “scoring machine” in his 1st season yet. He was still the winger/forward hybrid.

Brace vs Betis was just a starting. I hope those who disrespect his football ability right now will own up and eat the humble pie when he proves them wrong for years to come. :D
