Same. People keep saying "but who would replace them?". That's the thing, you don't replace players like that, you rebuild.
A friend guessed that he got upset because he knew winning the Champions League or La Liga would get him the Ballon d’Or with that season and of course his first CL. Wild theory
What a d1ck to say these things. Man, the whole team needs a boot camp in humbleness. How did we get to this point? And to think that to this dressing room full of egos we're bringing the coach with the biggest ego in the world...
I am of the opinion that we should keep Mbappé. He is still a machine and, in my eyes, the best player in the world. I would also prefer a traditional striker, but with Mbappé playing on the wing. Still, there’s no denying that his finishing, speed, and goal threat are unique. What surprises me is why the fans are surprised in the first place. We knew from the beginning what Mbappé’s strengths and weaknesses were. You sign a player with that profile and then ask why he does not do defensive work? That just does not make sense.
I will never understand how now with what we've seen of Mbappe for two years can anyone think he can play on the left wing? The dude cannot even dribble past a cone and he never tracks back. Plus his link up play is horrible.
Imagine Vini and Bellingham coming out to say “we won the UCL and la liga before Mbappe got here” ….would be factual but a stupid statement to make publicly. that’s what Mbappe just did. Brainless.
One of my friends was on the organizing media team here in Jeddah. This is what really happened: - There was never going to be Guard of Honor (probably decided by the RFEF + organizers) - After the game, there was confusion on where RM will stand, they were told by the photographers during Barcelona's celebrations to move to the other side, this is where the discussion between Mbappe and Xabi (and other players) happens. - Diario AS reported on this 4 days later
There is no doubt that he acted childish and unprofessionally. Btw, his behavior reflects the current mentality at Real Madrid. I am only talking about his ability as a player.
Then lets play him up front in a two-striker system. Realistically, Mbappe is never going to leave the club next year anyway. So the focus should be on making the best out of the situation and adapting the team accordingly.
Has there ever been a team that won doing this? Building around Mbappe I mean. And I know I may sound like a hater, but I'm not. I was all for him to come and didn't even mind the guy when he rejected us back in 22. I just haven't liked what I've seen from him these past two years and at some points questions need to be raised about him. He hasn't been on a winning project ever in his career apart from a month in summer of 2018. He's about to be 28.
Nah, I understand your conclusion, and honestly, it’s justified. Of course, criticism is necessary. I just do not see Mbappe being sold. That is why a workable solution has to be found.
Throwback to when he had a system. 🚨 Kylian Mbappé is the player with the most possessions won in the final third (13) in Europe’s top 5 leagues.PRESSING. @SofascoreINT 🔥 pic.twitter.com/U6sAnb9ltN— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) October 9, 2025
just lol Real Madrid have turned into a club of pointless stats Lyra can make Vinicius the best player in the world with the stats she is posting..unfortunately we watch the games and know that these players are garbage but post more stats ,we cant win trophies anymore atleast we are at the top in Europe in stats what a fall
Don't forget he had a similar thing with Galtier at PSG https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/kyl...altier-neymar-feud-strops/bltbdfa37c730d56abe Tuchel too
🚨 BREAKING: Kylian Mbappé's attitude in recent days has SURPRISED José Mourinho the MOST. @jfelixdiaz pic.twitter.com/o3VaJHHGeM— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) May 16, 2026
Definitely feels like he felt the club declared war on him so he decided to declare war back bad move imo
France won by building around Mbappe. But he is a left winger or second striker there playing off Giroud. So we need someone of that mould, and I do believe that Osimhen is the right profile. But that means getting rid of Vinicius and radically changing the midfield.
We know your eyes aren't permanently bloodshot from years of hating everyone in white by now so not a surprise there. but keep pretending the numbers are magic tricks i’m pulling out my ass. the same numbers that show him as the most fouled, most progressive, most threatening player in the squad every single week.
I think that's an understatement, he's an ego maniac, he's always been like this. He's not likely to ever do the work off the ball that winning teams need, and he's perfectly ok with that. Ronaldo and Messi were similar in that regard but they are much better footballers.
And the worst part is that even that is not really true. Ronaldo and Messi became like that in the later half of their careers. Mbappe was like that even when he was 20 years old.
