I bought Zidane and Beckham shirts from the classic football shirts company a handful of years ago and their labels recommended handwashing them because of their delicacy. Ever since then, I hand wash all my jerseys inside out. I recommend it because as you said things can get damaged in a washing machine
In all honesty, I can’t remember which way around they were. It’s not something I was bothered about at the time of trying them out. I’d like to say the players shirt has the vinyl but that’s no problem. I have the pink shirt and that badge is vinyl, been washed a lot of times and never had a problem. I sent them back as I was only trying them on and comparing the fit between them. I am getting a name/number on the back and didn’t want to end up wasting money on something that didn’t fit (you can’t return personalised shirts). But from what I tried on, the players shirt in a size up from usual Large (XL) felt so much better than the L and XL in the cheaper version. The material was so much better. Granted it’s a bit annoying that I have to pay an extra £40 to get a shirt I like that fits well. I can’t do slim fit shirts in my usual size, feels tight and I’d rather get it a little bigger have a more relaxed fit.
Yeah, my local sports shop recommends washing on a cold wash and on their own to avoid pulling. In fairness, I wash all my football shirts and never had a problem as tend to do them on their own and not with anything else.
My 2006 RM shirt is still perfect and white as ever. Meanwhile, my new Palmeiras jerseys are all falling apart. These companies care so little about Brazil. All that while charging like 500 reais per shirt.

I don't know. He looks kind of "old' in that photo. Definitely not infant Mbappe being bathed by Zidane. Sucks that Vinicius parents didn't have the foresight and connections to get him in a photo with a football legend and celebrity, not even an old pic with counterfeit jersey on or photo shopped in. Surely he won't win anything of importance and achieve greatness without such a photo from his childhood. If you think about it, its clear Vini has not been brought up "the right way" since there aren't any stories of him buying tickets for the kids in his charity to come to the Bernabeu and help worship him. I mean at least do it for the optics of a quick PR photo under a fight racism banner.
Currently in Spain with family. Pretty hyped that I can finally watch live. I'm usually asleep or in meetings during the whole hoopla of the medicals, press conferences, etc. Curious to see if Spanish channels will broadcast it.

This is still bizarre to me Maybe it will change once he plays his first game for us, but given the amount of photoshopped images we saw over the years, the real ones don’t seem real to me
