Mbappe lacks character for telling the manager to come this way because he is going the wrong way but Osimhen almost fought a teammate and is the l leader in his team that ended up almost quitting an important continental tournament is the hero we deserve
Took three posts for you to get to your "but what about Osimhen" argument. So pathetic Yeah this is how you tell your manager hes going the wrong way, when you have character. FC Nursery captain
Just calling it how it is, the double standard. Captaining the fire Carlo campaign despite his historic success WITH us but writing a memoir to Xabi Over dramatically criticizing Mbappe’s character, yet ignoring your favorite players’ flaws You know your football brother but you are so blinded by bias that it negates the value of your knowledge
Regarding the video, is what is being portrayed actually what happened? Is there any other context or theories going about? Or did Mbappé really lead the team from doing the guard of honor?
There are other shots indicating Xabi was leading the wrong way and Mbappe was waving him to come his way which was the right way, which is why Rodrygo did too.
Yeah but go back and read all the hate poured on Mbappe and Rodrygo; the supposed cancers who embarrassed Xabi. Nah, go read about how Xabi was beefing with Fede and Vini so he removed them.. yeah! They definitely were physically destroyed from the multiple physical matches in quick succession thousands of miles away from their actually country in some barren desert. People are absolute idiots. Seriously, go back a couple of pages and read their stupidity.. heck go to the front of the Xabi thread or the end if the Carlo thread and read the same people be completely wrong totally misreading the situation yet again. They will come here and hate successful people because every day they wake up they're reminded they're utter failures but take no respghat they are what they are because of what they are; idiots and morons.
Fran García blew it up in his interview with Mario Suárez, saying:"Sometimes when a player (Mbappé) isn't running, it creates pressure and fatigue for the team. I wish Kylian would press and run, because it would help us."It just so obvious.pic.twitter.com/SGRNrl0dFf— Z (@Zx12Jr) January 18, 2026 I have a feeling Fran Garcia will be a Como player soon.
🚨 Kylian Mbappé: "Jude getting whistles? No one doubts Jude Bellingham. I will SAY this again, we accept that the fans are not happy with us. But give EVERYONE the same treatment. Do not blame it on one guy. It is not Jude's fault, it's all our faults, this is all our jobs." pic.twitter.com/ab4Sw0TEUa— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) January 19, 2026 Kylian Mbappé: "Jude getting whistles? No one doubts Jude Bellingham. I will SAY this again, we accept that the fans are not happy with us. But give EVERYONE the same treatment. Do not blame it on one guy. It is not Jude's fault, it's all our faults, this is all our jobs." True. You're all soft and you need to man up and stop being divas.
He also understands that apparently he should fold like paper whenever one of his pet divas come with some grievance. Jokes aside we should sell Fran Garcia anyway this summer.
My understanding is you don't have to do a pasillo when collecting medals. That's what I heard on spanish radio and they are very pro-xabi. I haven't properly looked into it. Anyone know? It was perplexing to see Xabi ask them to do that if it's not the normal thing to do. Hence Mbappe's reaction. A player who respected Xabi by the way. Completely baffling. Of course the press made it into a big deal and the Xabi widows jumped on it. And here we are. Slaves to the media.
Barca vs Real Madrid rivalry is very mellow nowadays. If you compare it to some previous time periods. Hell, some of ours and their players are even friends. I wouldn't hate the pasillo. It's a sign of respect, and there's nothing wrong with that. But that's just me.
This guy is so far away ahead of any other player we have, we’ve never had this type of discrepancy in ability from the main guy to the next. Interesting stat. Mbappe has scored 42% of our league goals since arriving. In the 10 seasons prior the % split of the top scorer to the rest of the team was on average 29%. Heavy dependency. This season, Barcelona have 5 players who have scored five league goals or more, we have only 2.
Another game, another 2 goals for him. That's 11 in 6 games apparently. Doesn't look like anything he's looked his first few months in this team. Living up to the salary and the expectations. Maybe even exceeding them currently. Great to see it.
Definitely chasing Ronaldo's record for most UCL goals in a season (17). Shame he was injured for the City game.
Kyilan still has at least three UCL games left , he has 11 goals in 6 games. i don't think he can reach CR record in these three games, but I'm sure he can equal and even pass Benzema and Lewa's records for top scorer in the UCL for one season with 15 goals. In the next game, he can equal Raphinha’s record from last season (13 goals) in half the number of games(Raphinha did it in 14 games, Kylian can do it in 7).
I think they play more games now, under the new format? If so, older records will naturally be broken.
So you can actually put more effort into chasing upfront and tracking back to cover, when you want to. I feel like this guy is probably thinking "there is really no point in me putting effort on the defensive end up front, because the midfield and defense will screw up anyway even if I do it, so I might as well just conserve energy and camp at the 2/3 area of the pitch for a break so we outscore the opponent". I just happen to think thats a bad logic. Even if the lines behind you are shaky, every time you put the effort you make the chances of conceding lower. Thats part of your job. He constantly talks about everyone doing their job, but doesnt get that scoring is not his only job.
I find it funny that multiple Monaco players are staff were talking about Mbappé like he's from another planet, practically a superhero and some brainiac on the internet says "yup, this guy sucks". The guy is right now what makes us competitive upfront. The only player on our roster that cracks any kind of statistical category in the upper registers.
