Nope. He's wrong. We can hang this on every American voter who didn't vote for Hillary in 2016. Trump was elected, or close enough that Russia could get him across the line.
And snarling dogs and water cannons... This is Trump trying to scare black people away from going to the polls after work. pic.twitter.com/cuJIcg71ZZ— Ron Filipkowski (@RonFilipkowski) November 5, 2024
Brutal night for the communists. Kamala underperformed in every county. Worst nominee of all time and will fade into obscurity!
But but but vibes!!! She didn't hold a single press conference. Trump simply out worked her and celebrity friends. Shame about AZ. Gallego is a scumbag pos
I went to bed early because I had an early call with London today. Was not expecting this election to be done already.
While those of us on the West Coast barely got any sleep - hard to sleep when the world collapses around you.
I didn’t expect this to be so clear cut. I figured we’d see weeks of recounts, or one side winning the EC while the other won the popular vote. But, it looks like Trump won both, the first time for a GOP candidate since 2004. I wonder what lessons the Democrats will take away from this.
In my sadly cynical way, they will likely not have a female candidate again. Trump, the worst candidate in history, won against two highly qualified females. It's almost as if the country is more misogynistic than it is racist. And we're very racist.
I'm still trying to figure out the numbers based on the exit polls. For example: Which One of these issues mattered most in deciding who to vote for: Foreign policy - 4% (39% Kamala, 55% idiot) Abortion - 14% (76% Kamala, 24% idiot) Economy - 31% (20% Kamala, 79% idiot) Immigration - 11% (9% Kamala, 89% idiot) Democracy - 35% (81% Kamala, 17% idiot) Of the five items listed, assuming people are honest, Kamala should have won the popular vote 47.7%-45.8%*. But those 5 items only represent 95%, so basically people who didn't respond close to 100% voted for the idiot. Rounding errors are possible, but still. *this was determined by multiplying the percentage of voters who said it was the main issue by who they voted for, and then tallying it all up using excel.
This. It feels like US voters will go the extra mile to prevent a qualified female from becoming president. Even if it means electing someone who clearly should be nowhere near any kind of power. Truly bizarre.
Well, they did elect an adjudicated rapist. A man who has been accused of sexual assault by over 20 different women spanning decades in time. A man who routinely referred to women as pigs and bitches, and blames when they are disagreeable with him on having a period.
This my two cents. If you are going to put a minority woman candidate she should have a tough-ass, wise-cracking, chancleta-wielding public persona.
