Republicans have done this the past two cycles, releasing a ton of partisan polls as one tactic in their strategy of sowing distrust in our elections.

Sort of like a poster coming in here every time some athlete got sick and acting like there’s some real trend here.

Hilarious. Real Clear polling doesn't even make 538's top 15 in reliability.

You know that RCP doesnt do their own polling, right??
They bundle all public polls and take an aggregate from that.
Unless you think that Pew, Yahoo, NY Times, Reuters, PBS....etc are not legit polling organizations

Comes down to a handful of counties in several swing states so not sure the real relevance of national polling data. Unless it's showing a broader trend in favor of one candidate that can be extrapolated to GA, MI or PA

I'm reminded of the time Dubya went to a memorial for four cops who got killed in Dallas (?) by some Desert Storm vet who'd seen too much police brutality. He was literally swaying around on stage. At another moment during the service, he started tapping his feet to obviously that Mrs. Obama had to stop him.

I remember thinking, "At least these dead guys weren't Black. That would have been an irretrievably bad look for Dubya, who apparently meant no disrespect"

Trump's dancing is kind of like that. I believe he doesn't mean any disrespect here. He's just using every opportunity to put eyes on himself (which Dubya was not. He just got caught up in the music).

“It’s the economy” most repugnants quote the economy when they give a reason for backing Drumpf but do they ever look at his record. No they take the disgusting orange pig at “his word” All these failures are listed but no mention of Trump University

Trump's disastrous business legacy: How he destroyed every venture he touched
    Robert Reich commentary.
    October 13, 2024 6:16AM ET

Trump’s entire candidacy is based on a lie.(Lies)

TRUMP: I’m really a good businessman. I’m so good at business.

Not true. Trump is a business failure. Almost every business he’s touched, he’s driven into the ground.

MARCO RUBIO: You ever heard of Trump Steaks?

TRUMP: Trump Steaks are the greatest steaks, and I mean that in every sense of the word!

RUBIO: You ever heard of Trump Vodka?

    TRUMP: It’s a smooth vodka. It’s a great-tasting vodka.

RUBIO: All of these companies that he’s ruined!

It’s true! Trump had a failed board game …

TRUMP: My new game is Trump the Game.

a failed bicycle race called the “Tour de Trump”

TRUMP: I think this is an event that can be tremendous in the future. And it can really rival the Tour de France.

    … a failed football team.

TRUMP: It’s gonna stay strong. It’s gonna stay strong for a long time.

Trump decided it was a good idea to start a mortgage company in 2006.

TRUMP: It’s a great time to start a mortgage company.

That failed in less than two years. Let’s see, what else was there?

ELIZABETH WARREN: Trump Travel, Trump Ice …

JOHN OLIVER: Trump Magazine, which folded, Trump World Magazine, which also folded…

MITT ROMNEY: Whatever happened to Trump Airlines?

Oh! That was a good one! One of his planes had a crash landing within the first two months, which he insisted was the “most beautiful” landing you’ve ever seen. The business failed within three years.

Trump has even managed to bankrupt multiple casinos. How do you lose money running a casino, when the house always wins?

There’s an old joke that the easiest way to make a small fortune is to start with a large one. And that’s exactly what Trump did.

Multiple analyses show that if Trump had simply invested his multimillion-dollar inheritance in an index fund and not touched it, he’d be a lot richer than he is now. Think about that. His entire life’s work has been less successful than if he’d done nothing.

And when he was president, Trump ran the country like he ran his failed businesses. He added $8.4 trillion to the national debt — largely through his tax cuts for the rich and big corporations.

Trump has managed to survive every one of his business failures by leaving other people on the hook — leaving workers unpaid and shafting his investors.

The whole idea that Trump is good at business was a carefully crafted illusion — concocted for a reality TV show. And as with a lot of reality TV shows, we’ve come to learn it was all show, and no reality.

The only business Trump has been successful at is conning people. Now he’s trying to do it again. Don’t fall for it.

Now lets look at his successes

    Grand Hyatt Hotel

Trump bought the former Commodore Hotel, which had fallen into relative disrepair, from Penn Central Railroad in 1974 and after six years of construction, the Grand Hyatt Hotel debuted. Smack dab in the heart of New York City, with the image of Grand Central reflected off its glass façade, the 34-story hotel is still booming business today.

    Trump Tower

Trump broke ground on his now-famous 48-story Trump Tower in 1980. The luxury high-rise opened in 1983 and, with upscale restaurants and stores located in the mostly residential building, is still highly sought after real estate.

    Wollman Rink

Trump renovated Wollman Rink in 1986 after contacting Mayor Ed Koch and offering to complete the renovation for $3 million. He finished the project on time and $750,000 under budget. Wollman Rink remains a Central Park fixture with more than 5 million annual visitors.

    40 Wall Street

Trump purchased the building in 1995 for $1 million and renovated it for $35 million. Today, 40 Wall Street, one of the tallest office buildings in downtown New York, is worth over $500 million.

    Trump Place

After years of negotiations, Trump finally broke ground on Trump Place, the gargantuan housing development along the Hudson River. The development includes 25 acres of open space and 5,700 apartments housed in 18 residential buildings.

    The Apprentice

The Apprentice premiered on NBC in 2004 to great ratings. Trump served as not only the host but also the executive producer, raking in $1 million per episode. The show was successful enough that it inspired a spinoff, The Celebrity Apprentice.

    Trump International Tower Chicago

Trump bought the former Chicago Sun-Times headquarters in 2005 for $73 million and converted it into the second tallest building in Chicago. It houses a hotel, condos, restaurants and shops, and was named Travel+Leisure’s best large city hotel in North America in 2010.

You have a funny (and dishonest) way of defining success.

Trump was part owner and was bought out in 1996. He has had nothing to do with it for almost 30 years now. I'm guessing it lasted because he was only part-owner with Hyatt, hence why it is a Hyatt and not a Trump hotel.

    Actually, he didn't.

In other words, the orange idiot owes much, much more on it than he paid for it. That doesn't smell like success to me.

Yeah, about that, the orange idiot declared it to be worthless, and you think that means it is successful. Of course, maybe he was just deliberately cheating on his taxes like the lying cheater he is.

    • Trump Tower, 725 Fifth Avenue, Midtown Manhattan: A 58-story[179] mixed-use tower, the headquarters of the Trump Organization, was developed in partnership with The Equitable, and opened in 1983. Trump bought out the Equitable's stake in 1986,[180] and now owns the office and retail components of the tower.[181] The building also contains the three-story penthouse apartment that was Donald Trump's primary residence until he moved to the White House.[182] The value of the tower was estimated at $450 million in 2017.[183] Trump took out a $100 million mortgage on the building in 2012.[181]
    • Trump World Tower, 845 United Nations Plaza, also in Midtown Manhattan: In 2006, Forbes magazine estimated "$290 million in profits and unrealized appreciation" going to Trump.[184]
    • AXA Financial Center in Manhattan and 555 California Street in San Francisco: Trump owns a 30 percent stake in these two office buildings, resulting from a property swap involving Riverside South. Trump's stake in the two buildings was estimated to be at least $850 million as of 2013.[181]
    • The Trump Building at 40 Wall Street: Trump bought and renovated this building for $1 million in 1995. The pre-tax net operating income at the building as of 2011 was $20.89 million and is valued between $350 million and $400 million, according to the New York Department of Finance. Trump took out a $160 million mortgage attached to the property with an interest rate of 5.71% to use for other investments.[181] Forbes valued the property at $260 million in 2006.[184]
    • Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago: The entire project is valued at $1.2 billion ($112 million stake for Trump).
    • Trump International Hotel Las Vegas: A joint development with fellow Forbes 400 members, Phil Ruffin ("key partner"), and Jack Wishna ("minority partner").[185] In 2006, Trump's stake was estimated at $162 million.[184] In Forbes in March 2017, the Trump International Las Vegas was described as a 50-50 partnership between Donald Sr. and Ruffin, with Eric as the primary manager for the Trump Organization.[97]
    • Trump International Hotel and Tower New York: Trump provided his name and expertise to the building's owner (GE) during the building's re-development in 1994 for a fee totaling $40 million ($25 million for project management and $15 million in incentives deriving from the condo sales). Forbes values Trump's stake at $12 million. In March 2010, the penthouse apartment at Trump International Hotel & Tower in New York City sold for $33 million.[186][187]
    • Trump Park Avenue Park Avenue & 59th Street: It is valued at $142 million. Trump owns 23 apartments at Trump Park Avenue, which he rents for rates as high as $100,000 per month, and 19 units at Trump Parc.[181]
    • 6 East 57th Street: Trump has a leasehold interest on this retail building, adjacent to Trump Tower, through the year 2079.[188] The building was occupied by a Niketown store from 1996 to 2018.[188][189] The value of Trump's interest was estimated at $470 million as of 2015.[190]
    • Mar-a-Lago: A historic estate in Palm Beach, Florida, most of which was converted by Trump into a members-only resort. The property was worth as much as $250 million as of 2013.[181] Trump also owns two neighboring private houses, valued at $6.5 million and $3 million.[181]
    • Seven Springs: A 213-acre (86 ha) estate with a 13-bedroom mansion near Bedford, New York. Trump paid $7.5 million for the property in 1995.[191] Local brokers put the property's value at around $40 million as of 2013.[181] Trump had hoped to develop the land with a golf course or houses, but apparently abandoned those plans in 2015.[191]
    • Beverly Hills house: A 5-bedroom home purchased by Trump in 2007 for $7 million,[192] and valued between $8.5 and $10 million as of 2013.[181] Sold the property in June 2019, off-market, for $13.5 million.

    Wollman Rink, Central Park
In 1986, Trump rebuilt the deteriorating Wollman Rink two months ahead of schedule and $750,000 under the $2.5 million price ceiling imposed by the city.[193][194][195] Trump asked his contractors, among them HRH Construction, to do the work without making a profit, promising them publicity but not mentioning their contributions to the press afterwards.[196] Trump was given a concession to operate the rink for a year, with the profits to be given to charity. In 1987, as part of the agreement to keep operating Wollman Rink, the Trump Organization agreed to also take a concession for the Lasker Rink; they held the concessions until 1995.[197]

In 2001, a Trump-owned subsidiary, Wollman Rink Operations LLC, won another concession to operate the rinks until April 30, 2021.[198][199] Wollman Rink Operations LLC is owned by DJT Holdings LLC which was owned by the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust for the duration of Trump's presidency.[198] The Trump name was prominently displayed on the walls of the Wollman Rink and on the Zamboni maintaining the ice. In 2019, the Trump Organization replaced the name with Wollman Rink logos.[200] In his financial disclosure filed in May 2018, Trump reported nearly $35 million in income from the two rinks since 2015.[198][201]

The Trump Organization's contract to operate the rinks expired in April 2021.[202][203][204]
