    And when I thought we had moved...I've been saying for a quite a while that this place has quite a bit a casual acceptance of violence, and thwn this. Said poster has a history of casual acceptance of violence. Of course, if one comes from that position, or accepting that violence is acceptable, one doesn't get the where I am coming from.

    Y'know, your favorite phrase-- "casual acceptance" is disingenuous. Routine acceptance of violence in 2024 America is not "casual" it is realistic. We are not living in a peaceable, non-violent culture any more than a sober one. Acceptance is necessary if one is to have a life. It is a survival trait.
