    FT indonesia 1-1 china.

tbh, the indonesian goalkeeper played well.
meanwhile...our midfielders failed to put up the play.

You know since I've been following Chinese football and seen all the horrible problems with it, I've always at least been able to point the finger/fingers on where the problem lies within the national team, but today I was lost for words. Chinese football has some deep rooted problems which I don't know where to being to start.

China are through to the next stage unless Thailand beats Iran by five goals and China finishes in third in their group!

Hi all, I'm watching the China vs Indonesia game yesterday, on SCTV - Indonesian national TV. The commentator of Indonesia said "It is China's team strategy to play low tempo and patient"
I did not know if it was China's manager strategy, it could be strategy to avoid Indonesian fast counter attack or maybe to avoid exhausted, because Jakarta's climate is so high in humidity.
It seems China Team was playing really bad, without the spirit to win the game.
I think the problem with China Team is the lack of "spirit", the Korean and Japanese on the other hand full of spirit when playing.
Even Indonesian Team although lower in quality compare to East Asian Teams but always play with full spirit. I did not know if yesterday, the match can be watched full capacity, the result will be end up win for Indonesia.
The China NT need to play with full spirit, This is what I think your NT need.

Just got the news from the Indonesian online football news : Current Indonesian NT Manager, Jacksen F. Tiago, a Brazilian that starting his career as foreign football player in Indonesia since 1994 and then became successful Club manager of Persipura Jayapura "The black pearl" team (one of the strongest team), is being in negotiation for the position of club manager with China League One, Tianjin Songjiang.
He is a very good manager, both for the club and just this 2013 starting his career as NT manager. Has shown good result with NT exhibition game with Dutch NT, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. (Although lose, but the team shown good play).
I believe he will be valuable for Tianjin Songjiang if the deal is really agreed.
    The link is :
    http://www.bolaindo.com/2013/10/18/jacksen-beberkan-alasan-ingin-latih-klub-china/

Since it is in Indonesian, I just give the point of the news :
Jacksen is happy to negotiate with Tianjin Songjiang, because he is too long stay in Indonesia for 20 years and he want to have new experience in China.

China NT was very entertaining in 2004 AFC cup. Under manager Arie Haan, the team was very good. Although end up as runner up, but personally I consider China NT as champion for the 2004 AFC cup, because the Japan NT player Koji Nakata scored with his right hand that changed the whole games. (I was wandering this Nakata happy by scoring with his hand, as far as I know the Japanese zero tolerance to shame things. Maybe he want to be remembered like Maradona).
I think China NT needs managers from Holland, because the Dutch total football running well with China NT. Korea Republic also very entertaining under Dutch's Guus Hiddink.
BTW, It was a good comment from Arie Haan to China daily on June 2013. I think the Chinese FA must take Arie Haan's opinion seriously :
"China has good players, but they have learned little recently. With Camacho they have a defensive coach and now almost every game they play with a completely different team. Dutchman Jan Olde Riekerink is coach of Under 20. Which is also strange, to have a Spaniard as first team coach and a Dutchman as youth coach. They have very different ideas. Again, the continuity is missing. I would take a Dutch or French trainer, as I said when I left."

Update on coming China NT vs Indonesia NT:
Indonesia win over Kyrgyzstan on friendly 4:0

It seems that second leg of China NT vs Indonesia NT will be an entertaining game.
However, China NT has advantage of home game with supporters and climate.

Arie Haan really love Chinese Football
    http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/sports/2013-06/14/content_16621633.htm

    his comment was interesting:
"Now Sven-Goran Eriksson went to China (as coach of Guangzhou R&F)," Haan told Xinhua. "I do not know what's behind it. They know my price. Maybe I have become too Chinese for the Chinese. They may prefer a real foreigner."

Touch of class from Dario Conca in probably his last CSL match for Evergrande. (front of shirt: Wherever I am, you will all be in my heart. / back of shirt: Thanks.)
