In then right out of the playoffs. I was tempted to say we don't qualify but, even as bad as we have been, looking over the rest of the East's remaining games I don't see us dropping all the way out. I'd guess that we end up as the #3 seed, significantly behind DC & Chi and just ahead of KC and RBNY. If they didn't play each other on the last weekend I could see them both passing us.

Then the Fire will bounce us from the playoffs 4-1 over two legs.

RBNY and KC do actually play the last weekend (in NY).

Good to see that someone anonymous still believes in the team (or is just having some fun).

it's funny, the curve is just about exactly what I thought it would be. I wonder if you emailed this to craig or management, and said, here is what the fans think of this team. what their reaction would be. howdisconnected from the fans is the fo?

So will there still be a "you suck" allocation if we come in 5th?

Anyone who doesn't make the playoffs gets the "you suck" allocation.

Exactly. My crystal ball has the standings headed into the last weekend as:

    DCU - 64pts
    Chi - 41pts
    NE - 36pts
    KC - 33pts
    RBNY - 33pts
    Clb - 24pts

If the schedule were different and we were playing KC and RBNY was playing CLB I could see all three of us finishing on 36 points and us losing out on a tie breaker. As it stands I see KC winning and us at least tying Clb to hold onto 3rd. However it's going to be a dogfight for the last 2 spots.

What a bunch of newbie pessimists! True disaster is a good run in the playoffs and another year of the Paul and Stevie show. Big Frank where are you?

I knew who one of the people would be ... but I didn't think you'd follow that way. Here's hoping you're right and we're all wrong.

The f'ed up thing about MLS is that a three game win streak can erase a season of crap. Look at how much RBNY's esteme has risen since they brought that ridiculously bad team into Gillette to after their three game win streak. It doesn't even matter who those wins are against.

If we were to win the next three and then tie a few more, we'd probably be a #2 seed.

Kind of makes april, may, june, july, and august pretty meaningless, huh.

If the playoffs were to start Sunday, i'd say we are first round exiters.
Since the playoffs start in october, ECC here we come.
LA proved last year its not what you do during the season, only the playoffs.

NE proved in 02 that you can suck all season long and go undefeated (5-0-1) in the last 6 games, take the Eastern Conference title, and go straight to MLS Cup.

Anybody giving up hope now is not a true Revs fan. True Revs fans know that this team will be there in October. Kinda like the Yankees.

Oh please ... that's full of shit and you know it.

No one here is giving up on this team. But we are damn well allowed to be frustrated with them.

2002 was not a good season. They sucked all year, like you said, don't lose focus on that point. Sucking for 32 games then going to the Cup means you keep the same useless management team and roster so you can watch 32 more games of crap the next year.

We are, I am, but I'm saying we should have some hope because of history.

I'm not giving up on this team. I'm going to be there on Sunday cheering louder than I have at any other point this season.

History doesn't mean it's going to happen again.
