Do you recall Ashley Smith-Brown ... he was in Man City’s under 18’s team at 15 and was soon captain... even played in England’s under 19 alongside some great players
OFFICIAL: The top 10 standings for the 2020 Golden Boy award.Erling Haaland is this years winner. pic.twitter.com/98MPeEktaH— Squawka Live (@Squawka_Live) November 21, 2020 I can of feel for Sancho a bit, I mean he’s ranked probably about right but he was clear in 2019 and robbed of top spot to be honest and been performing consistently for the last 2 1/2 seasons compared to others that are currently in a purple patch.
Still, 3 England players in the top 10, no other nation with more than one. They won't win but Saka, Bellingham, and Greenwood will all be troubling next years top 10 you'd think as well.
Could probably add Musiala to the list too, looked a bit nervous today but will probably get plenty of playing time with Bayern over the next year.
Harvey Elliott has hit the ground running on his Championship loan: A look at Harvey Elliott 🏴 -Very highly rated by people at #LFC & it seems like he got the right loan move. Compared him w/ players in the C’ship with at least 500 mins. His playmaking is really up there with the top.1st - Key passes🥇3rd - xA90🥉4th - Smart passes 🎖 pic.twitter.com/iGXm6t216s— Rithwik Rajendran (@rithwikrajendra) November 21, 2020 Has every right to look at his peers like Musiala and Bellingham and think he deserves the same kind of opportunities at Liverpool.

Don’t think this was mentioned at the time - 🏴 #asfc goalkeeper @SavinToby has received a call-up to an @England Goalkeeping Development Camp at St George’s Park.Congratulations Toby!➡️ https://t.co/hByjtLOEYg pic.twitter.com/aZyvrZpreT— Accrington Stanley (@ASFCofficial) November 20, 2020 5 clean sheets this season in League 1. Great name for a keeper too.
They’ve been doing it for a while. They don’t always advertise the keepers so it’s down to clubs or players if they want to make it public. Savin has a few PL clubs watching him I think.
Tbf he should've known the drill. PL pretty much as standard give less chances than other leagues. Jones is only getting his run now due to injuries
I haven’t heard much of this kid but I gather he’s highly rated seeing many Clubs are apparently interested in him? Gather he must be an England Youth International also? Post Brexit transfer system agreed between PL, FA + EFL. Inc 'points-based system' based on: Senior + youth int apps, quality of selling club and club apps. Players just below required level could be considered for exceptions.— Simon Stone (@sistoney67) December 1, 2020 All new signings from European Union nations will require a work permit that will be allocated on a points-based system. Big news— Ed Aarons (@ed_aarons) December 1, 2020
Not seen the details of the points system yet but this bit makes me think the PL clubs have 'won' the negotiations. The FA get to look like they've done something, the clubs get restrictions that don't actually restrict them.
How will this effect our kids moving to the EU once they reach 18? Also will presumably mean gone are the days when Spanish players will classes as homegrown.
