Chelsea sign Timo Werner for relatively cheap. Good, young striker. Could have been useful here but we weren't even interested
Pretty sure Milik will be out of contract or on his last year, obviously a Juve special compared to the release clause of Werner. To be fair, I don't think Werner is what we need (outside of his pace) and Milik would probably be better in the current setup. Granted the current "setup" may not last the remainder of the summer.
We're agreed there. They need to stop with these players whom they see as deals simply because they are available at a discount or on a free. Then we get stuck with highly-paid, mediocre players who do little to improve the squad. See Rabiot and Ramsey.
and just like that, Juve are 4 points clear of Lazio and 8 points clear of Merda. Lazio squander a 2 goal lead and Inter are...well Merda. Still plenty of time for things to change and plenty of matches for us to possibly drop points. Don't get it twisted, all of the pressure is on Lazio. They know they have to play perfect in order to take down the Kings.
Nah, I'm hearing the club are considering dumping him at the end of the season regardless if we win Serie A
For sure. But if Lazio lose another game or draw and we are puling further away. The fact is, that by Lazio losing, they have put themselves in a difficult position. It was always going to be difficult for them because we are very much in control and have been for practically the last decade. As most have said, we have been the favorites until proven otherwise.
Hakimi to Inter pretty much done deal. Another good addition for them, they are indeed making some good moves.
Lazio win 2-1 against Fiorentina. They got a pk that was never, ever, a penalty. If it were Juve the papers would be full for a week.
I was watching the game and was almost wanting them to come back because if they went down 7 points, that would have been it. This way the race stays close and encourages Juve to try and find the gas so we can put our foot on it for the remainder of the season and CL.
I noticed Immobile has 11 penalties that’s pretty crazy. Not sure the validity of them all but definitely a lot of penalties for a team to win over 29 games
Yeah, he has a pretty good amount. Can't complain because people will in turn complain about Ronaldo and our "penalties." It is a lose lose situation as a Juventino. I think most research have indicated that these things normally balance themselves out by end of season.
Lazio has 15 penalties this season in their favor, the record was set by Milan in 1950 with 18 penalties. Juve has 10 in their favor. On the other end Juve has 8 called against them while Lazio has 3.
15 penalties in a season (that isnt even over yet) is insane. A team should normally be getting 8-12 over a whole 38 game season
