    He's a class act. For me the best striker in the CL this season. Messi has been excellent but he has far better support and Raul is not only a great player but the spiritual leader of the side ontop of it.

    That's why Höwedes, alongside Hummels are special talents right now, how many times do you see a defender be able to do that? He also dominates aerially and physically.

    Great pass as well from the man of the match.

    Raul is a legend as a player, but he's above that as a person. The Schalke crowd control gave me goosebumps. On one hand it would have been great to see him retire with us, on the other hand, the way he honors the Schalke shirt is beyond belief, and possibly one of the moments you don't forget.

    A lot of people can respect the club they grew up in, but i've never seen a player respect the new club like this, at this stage of his career. Superb personality, one in a million.

    And everyone in Germany loves him. There is no shortage of opposing fans who haven't praised him. He is just so beloved in that country and great to see him return that love. He fits right into that culture, football and all.
