From Aberdeen to AlbinoLeffe, Zenit St. Petersburg to Zalaegerszegi TE, this is the place to talk about teams who are not Manchester United. Continued from here.

Re: The title - Not sure we have much ammunition right now considering our own result at the weekend. By all means make suggestions if you want and if I'm still a mod by then, I'll change it.

i thought he said 'big cnut' not 'black cnut' but he's still the least likeable person in football

chelsea really need some new clientel, luiz looked good last season at first, but his decision making is terrible now....not to mention terry being shit

unless u lot pick up some form again, city aren't gonna have any trouble winning the league

there is no but. the league is 38 games long, it cannot be decided after 10 matches. that's not how it works. as good as a team can look over a stretch of 10 games, it can look like shite for another 10. alternatively, you can play well and not have any luck and drop points quite often too. Citeh lead by 5 pts after a quarter of the season. that is 2 results. To suggest anyone is locked in to win at this stage is ludicrous.

The club overachieved to be in the 8th position in the league...Who delivered that 8th position by the way??....Wasnt it Sparky??....Anyway the chairman can write as many letters as he wants but I dont think it had make much of a difference...The reason for him quitting must have been because Chelsea might have shown interest in him....Meh...Not bothered to go further on this one to be honest....

i'm not saying they are locked, but they are very impressive with the best squad in the league by a mile

tough times ahead for football, i can see them dominating over the next few years

    Sven's been sacked at Leicester.

11 managers in 11 years. Blimey.

surely with the extra investment, he could have gone for better players than nugent, beckford and neil danns?

the squad seems reasonable, but my friend went to the birmingham game and said beckford diddn't even start!

To be honest, he bought good players in the likes of Nugent, Beckford, Danns, Kasper, Gelson Fernandes, Michael Johnson, John Pantsil, Matt Mills, Sean St Ledger etc.

Considering the players they have bought/money spent, they had to be doing way better then they are right now. But sacking shouldn't have been on the agenda. Now they will have to rebuild again and get used to another new manager.

Martin O'Neil is the favourite, but other names are Billy Davies, Mark Hughes, Dave Jones, Roy Keane, Alan Shearer etc.

It's an attractive club - money.

He has to agree to press charges Lynne. Just like the real world. Police can only press charges if a victim agrees.

Thats the problem. With Racism, its should not require anyone to press charges.

If they are serious about it, any sniff should bring about some sort of inquiry.

Criminal charges are brought by the state (who was interested in public safety and welfare), not the victim.

So fundamentally that's what I'm saying here. Seems like the FA would want to police their game. They have the proof. Anton Ferdinand would be a witness -- one who might not want to create a scene -- not the "accuser".

The other problem is that the action is made light of our referred to as somebody using a "card" instead of a horrible action. Like I said earlier what does it matter if they have video of him saying it and others heard him? He'll just say he said something else and people who don't understand or identify with such an incident will sweep it under the rug.

Not quite true - but in practice it is very hard to prosecute if the victim doesn't want to make a complaint or testify. Domestic violence is the obvious example.

In general minor stuff like this relies on a complaint from a member of the public. But even for serious cases, the co-operation of the victim is often required.

For instance, in my old apartment building, a low life coke dealer used to beat up his girlfriend every weekend.

Various tenants complained to the police endlessly. They'd turn up - she'd claim everything was great - they leave - wash and repeat.

An example the other way is fighting - e.g. Barton and Dyer where it was on camera.

Plenty of people have been busted for pub fights, where the 'victim' has not complained.

I presume nothing will come of this except more great PR for England's big man
